Gigantes (Greek Lima Beans)

Reviewed: May 2, 2013
I loved this recipe, however, I automatically cut the amount of oil to 1/3 c. I also added more garlic. Made a whole pyrex dish and it was gone in a day!

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2012
As other reviewers said, 450 is WAY too high and 45 minutes was not necessary - 30-35 min at 400 degrees did the trick for me. I didn't have onion powder but they came out great anyway. delicious and healthy home made fries!

Lemon Madeleines

LOVE these cookies! I used juice and zest from a whole lemon for more lemon flavor. Taste great on their own or when dipped into coffee.

Alison's Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2011
My rating is deceiving since I, like many other reviewers, changed the base recipe, so I guess I'm giving my version 5 stars haha. I omitted the salt and used 5 bullion cubes instead of 10. I added 3 bay leaves and used fresh veggies instead of frozen ones. It was absolutely delicious!

So different and tasty! I added a green bell pepper and used dried ginger; a definite crowd pleaser

Banana-Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
Love this recipe, but I modified it slightly based on what I had available: I halved the white sugar, substituted the oil with apple sauce, and used almonds and raisins instead of cranberries and walnuts. Delicious!
