I'm LoLaBelle, I've very honestly been cooking since I was 3 years old. My father has been a Chef for over 20 years, and I've been a professional caterer since I was fifteen. Cooking is one of my earliest passions, and a definite family tradition for me. One of our family slogans just so happens to be don't expect to stay skinny around us, and it's typically pretty true. A few of my other interests are reading, outdoors activities (and I love cooking outdoors), sewing, my 2 precious kitties, and my world is my family.

My cooking triumphs
Creating a "no fry" Chicken Parmesan on the first try and have it be perfect! I was so excited, because I LOVE chicken Parmesan and I have Crohn's Disease so fried foods or foods heavy in fat REALLY upset my stomach so I needed a baked, low fat Chicken Parm so I was sitting there pondering how to do it, then I notified my boyfriend at the time that I was going to subject him to some experimental cooking that night and surprisingly it came out great. Everyone who happened to come over that night loved it as well.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 8 i tried to make some cookies for the first time solo and I mis-read the recipe and accidentally added 2 cups of Baking Soda instead of 2 tablespoons. Luckily my parents just laughed, told me to throw the batch out and bought me some more baking soda. I hadn't baked them yet, when I tried to taste test them before panning them I noticed they tasted like pop rock cookies :)

Sugar Free Mocha Cheesecake
It needs a little longer in the oven than what was recommended, but I replaced all the espresso with crushed oreos and I replaced the crust with crushed oreos as well to make this a Sugar Free Oreo Cheesecake. Also, with any sugar free recipe if you use a little bit of lemon juice along with the sugar replacement it completely covers up that strange taste that sugar replacements can leave behind. Other than a few minor adjustments I had to make, this recipe was fairly good.
