Tomato Zucchini Casserole

Banana Nut Oatmeal

I made this and it was way too sweet. Next time I will leave out the honey and put a drop of liquid Greenleaf stevia in it. If you do like honey, start with a Teaspoon and then add more if desired. Also, the recipe states to add all the ingredients them microwave. That included the banana. Then it says, may be typo, to add mashed banana after. Not sure which way she meant to say but I had to add another banana just to tone down the sugary taste.

Grandma Rita's Soft Butter Rolls

I have tried these twice because Step 4 using the wax paper was a disaster. It stuck to the dough and was a mess. I did use flour but I was left peeling the wax paper out of the dough. If I wasn't needing these that day, I would have just thrown out the home mess. The 2nd time I used my pampered chef silicone mat and it came out great. These are now my go to rolls.

Chef John's Perfect Prime Rib

My husband and I were skeptical but it turned out PERFECT! This is also my first time cooking Prime Rib. We both were amazed how easy and how it was cooked to perfection. I have tried a taste of my husbands Prime Rib while out dining and never cared for the taste. I really do not care for beef roasts but this one surprised me! The only suggestion I have is that we would have placed the the meat on a warmed plated covered with foil, after it was done, while we made the Au Jus which was also very good. I had to put a piece of blue painters tape across the oven door to remind my husband not to open the oven!!

Hamburger Buns

I find that if I use the full 6 cups of flour the rolls are not as light but if I use 1/2 less the dough is very sticky. I found this easy and I am an just learning how to make home bread properly. Does anyone have any suggestions? I wonder if the type of flour makes a difference and I use Rapid yeast in the jar. I also only make 12-13 because we like large buns and I also flatten them down because the rolls left in shape of ball were too high and too small.
