Chef John's Caramel Chicken

I made this the other day, and it was absolutely delicious!!! I didn't have some of the ingredients, so I had to improvise. I did not have fish oil so I added more soy sauce. I did not have jalapenos or green onion, so left that out. To add spice I added a TBS of korean hot paste. My husband said I can make this dish anytime I want to =) ( I did serve over korean white rice ).

Homemade Maple Syrup

This is absolutely wonderful!!! I did not have maple extract, I substituted vanilla and 1 tbsp of butter. Used 1/2 cup of white sugar, 1 1/2 cup of brown sugar and boiled 20 mins to thicken up to consistency of my liking. Will never ever, ever buy store bought syrup again! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!!!

CARNATION® Famous Fudge

my go to recipe for fudge! I have made this over a dozen times at least. And every time I make, I get great compliments and recipe requests. I change up the morsels and the nuts all the time. For someone who has never made fudge, with this recipe, I look like a pro! Who needs a thermometer??!?! Not me! =)

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recently I have made my share of cookies, and though they were all good, this is by far the BEST! The crispiness from the grated oatmeal, the heavenly chocolate with every bite, and the chopped walnuts, make this the perfect cookie for me! I did add 1/2 tsp of ground saigon cinnamon (enhances chocolate for me), and 2 tbs of ground flax seed. I have made this recipe twice in 2 days. On today's batch, I used Hershey's special dark chocolate chips, and Ghiradelli bitter sweet bar I grated in food processor. This is now my go to for cookies, and I will be making these for Christmas presents this year =). Hope these work out for you, happy baking =)

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Wonderful recipe, I did add 2 tbs of ground flax seed and 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon, used Hershey's special dark chocolate, and chopped almonds, delicious!!! Cooked for 10 mins 30 secs and and let rest in cookie sheet for 5 mins before removing to cool.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Made this for the 1st time yesterday, double the batch, made 6 dozen. Took 2 dozen to my parents house yesterday, they disappeared within minutes. Everyone loved them!!! I did cut back on a 1/4 cup of white sugar and added more brown sugar. Also, added 2 tbs of ground flax seed, 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon, used whole wheat flour, and Hershey's special dark chocolate chips. These are most definitely winners in my book. My two favorite cookies right now are these and Oatmeal chip cookies (also on this site). They are now my go to cookie recipes!

Basil Pork Chops

Made these for the 1st time for my family last night, and they were scrumptious! I used thin pork loin chops. I should have cut the cooking time down, but I live and I learn. The taste was yummy, even my 17 month daughter liked it!!! Next time I think I will add a dash of cayenne and a little more chili powder, to add a little more kick. Thanks for sharing Lisa!!!

Oatmeal Chip Cookies

These are the best cookies I have made so far!!! I used a Korean whole wheat flour, added TBS of ground flax seed, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg, and dark choc chips. Next time I think I'll add more oatmeal. I highly recommend this recipe, and thank you very much Nancy for sharing!!! I now know what I'll be baking for Christmas gifts this year =)

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

I have made this twice already in 3 days. 1st round was for my mother-in-law. My 15 month old daughter could not get enough of this!!! Round 2 was for my girlfriend that just had a baby. She and her family absolutely loved it!!! I did use no boil noodles and a little more cheese then called for. Absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to try something out of their normal routine. Also on the cooked chicken, I poached chicken breast with vegtables (good time to clean out regrigerator) and seasonings of my liking, with ground ginger on top of the list of course.
