I bet the companies are really pissed off, because it hurts there brand name.

Now I see the link... Ewww. I put myself through school working in restaurants (and some of those experiences were pretty scary) But after Steve Martin's take on the fast food industry I could never help being a bit suspicious of the first materials used. (If you can find his album "Comedy is not Pretty" definitely check it out!)

About Me
I am a 33 year old mother to 5 fabulous kids. We have 10 rescued pets. I am a country girl at heart stuck in the burbs for now. I am outgoing and have great sense of humor, especially when it comes to laughing at myself. I love being outdoors. I am art, history, and weather obsessed. Cooking is my greatest passion (after God and family). Second would be photography. It seems with each passing year I learn the value of the cooking/baking skills more and more :)
My favorite things to cook
Everything and anything. General Tso's Chicken. Potato Bacon Chowder. Fresh Bread. Cookies and Muffins. Homemade gravy (i'm italian). Too many to list :D Experimenting with muffins recipes and ideas. I am baking obsessed and love new cooking challenges. I especially love trying the recipes of others! I get bored with my own at times and loving seeing how others put their spin on things :D
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sunday dinners are a must. The secret ingredient is always love. A family that cooks together, eats together, cleans up together is a family that will stay together :D The right food in the right situation feeds the heart, mind, body, soul and spirit :D
My cooking triumphs
Mastering the art of fresh baked white and italian bread from scratch. Creating all homemade versions of my family's favorite treats from the grocery store. Getting my family to loathe take out because the versions we made were so much tastier and better for you! Being able to take control over what my family was eating which nearly eliminated food allergies.(have kids that are known to be allergic to a variety of preservatives and such).
My cooking tragedies
Once my husband and I were making potato bacon chowder. Without thinking we strained the bacon in a plastic strainer! What a mess!!! Still brought up often for good laughs :D Found a recipe online that sounded good...in the end it turns out it was the recipe for alien eggs...I laughed for hours....it was just plastic unidentifiable eggs. What did I learn??? NEVER STRAY FROM ALLRECIPES :P lmao
