Stuffed Portobello Mushroom Caps

I found this to be very bland. Next time I will season the mushrooms with a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder, as well as add some sautéed onion, pepper, and garlic to the crab mixture. Then I think this will be a 5-star recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Zippy Ground Beef Skillet

What a tasty and easy recipe! I added some minced garlic with the onions and peppers. I also added about a cup of shredded Kraft three cheese with a touch of Philadelphia. Delicious!

Crustless Zucchini Pie

By far, my favorite zucchini recipe of the summer! It's easy, economical, and versatile. I added ham, potatoes, and tomatoes~ yumm-o! You could add all kinds of ingredients to customize this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Chef John's Coq Au Vin

Once again, Chef John does not disappoint. This recipe was phenomenal, well worth the time and effort. I followed the recipe exactly, and would not change a thing. The sauce is to die for! It is excellent paired with mashed potatoes. Thank you, Chef John!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps

This is awesome, and super easy! I used Frank's Buffalo sauce and served on tortillas with blue cheese dressing, lettuce, tomato, and Gorgonzola crumbles. I will be making this frequently from now on. Thanks for sharing!

Vegetable Cheesy Soup

I tweaked this recipe a bit to suit my family's tastes- the recipe itself is a wonderful base. I added diced redskin potatoes with the vegetables. I only drained about half the water from the veggies- just depends on how you like the consistency of your soup. I also added diced chicken, which I browned with lots of minced garlic prior to adding. Due to my added ingredients, I added an additional cup of milk and a cup of half and half. We are big cheese lovers, so I used a whole brick of shredded sharp cheddar cheese. I seasoned the soup with pepper, garlic salt, and bay leaf. It was absolutely delicious! One of our new family favorites.

Salsa Chicken and Potato Packets

After reading other reviews, I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic. I also tossed the potato slices with oil, salt, pepper, and garlic. I used extra salsa. The meal was really quite good- quick and easy, using ingredients I already had on hand.

Mushroom Lentil Barley Stew

This smelled so great while it was cooking, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The shiitake mushrooms had a an unappealing texture and after one day, the leftovers were a thick and unappetizing. I'm sorry. I feel terrible, but this is my first one-star review.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Super yummy! This was my first crack at chicken pot pie. I cheated to make it easy on myself and used rotisserie chicken, frozen mixed veggies, and ready to bake pie crust. The gravy came out perfectly and was very tasty. Can't wait to make this again. Thanks for sharing!

Super delish! The only thing I will do differently next time is use a bit less sauce on the crust - it was just a tad too saucy for our tastes. Serve with creamy blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping. Thanks for sharing!

Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup

If I could give this 10 stars I would! I halved the recipe (keeping the same amount of carrots and celery), and substituted Italian seasoning for the oregano. I added cubed, uncooked chicken in at the same time as the veggies and simmered for 20 minutes. Like many others, I kept the orzo separate and added to individual serving bowls. I also added the lemon juice to taste. This shot straight to the top of my list of favorite soups. Thank you so much, ReneePaj!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This is an easy and excellent recipe! The only changes I made were using chicken broth instead of bouillon, adding 4 oz. of sharp cheddar to the milk mixture, sautéing the veggies in evoo first (with some minced garlic, of course!), and adding the ham last. Super delicious! This will be my go-to potato soup recipe from now on.
