Awesome Egg Salad with a Kick

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
I make this all the time. I have put the bacon in before, but prefer it without. I scale up or down the horseradish, depending on who I'm serving it to. I also love to add a bit of celery and some sliced green olives with pimentos. Excellent on toasted sourdough. Always a hit. I love to see people trying to figure out what's in it. Thanks.

Easy Frozen Margaritas

The perfect margarita. We use regular triple sec and it tastes wonderful. Not as expensive to make as the premade store bought mixes. Thanks.

Messy Taco Salad

I don't know what to say other than this was very odd. The meat mixture was terrible and the lettuce wilted. Sorry.

Kielbasa and Cabbage II

This was pretty good. It needs more spices though. It was a little bland but a good base for your own creation.

Crab Brunch Casserole

I made this for Mother's Day brunch and it was terrible. The croutons overpowered the flavor and it was pretty dry. I followed the recipe exactly and still turned out terrible.

Very good. Made receipe exactly as listed and it was a huge hit. I made it for a luncheon with garlic bread and salad and there was none left. Thanks.

Colene's Easy Tomato Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2005
Yummy. I used bloody mary mix instead of the tomato juice and used 4 cups water instead of two. Great ideas for add ins: feta cheese crumbles, parmesan cheese, garbanzo beans, chicken, beef, the possibilities are endless. This was effortless and will definitely make again. Thanks!

Baked Potato Salad II

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2004
Absolutely delicious. I have made this exactly as the recipe stated and have also made a "mashed" version omitting the olives. I then serve it with eggs for breakfast. Great for camping. I made this for a potluck and literally had to give the recipe to 8 people! A great hit. Hint: Use Best Foods Mayo for the best taste or use grated cheddar cheese. Yummy.

Old-World Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2004
A great soup. The ketchup gives it just the right amount of sweetness. I have made this several times and use spicy V8 or bloody mary mix instead of the vegetable juice for an extra kick. The sauage add in is a great idea also. I sometimes add garbanzo beans, feta cheese, parmesan cheese or croutons. This is a great soup to make on Sunday and use as a base for a week when you want to lighten up on the calories. A keeper. Thanks!

This recipe was excellent. A simple way to make corn on the cob. The oven cooking is a great convenience. My guests loved it.

Twice Baked Potatoes II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2002
Very yummy. I cut time by microwaving the potatoes for the first round of baking. I also make a triple batch and freeze most of the potatoes before baking. Then when I want to add this to a meal I just thaw and then bake. This makes a great meal with a salad.
