Pork with Clams

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
Made this for my Portugese boyfriend. He said it was great and liked it better than his own. He especially loved the sauce, only wished there was more of it. Needs more cilantro than called for. (1/2 cup or more)

Asian Avocado

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2012
Much to my surprise this was excellent. Did not have fresh ginger so used a "pinch" of ground ginger instead. Left me wanting more.

Crazy Cake

I am very surprised a cake without eggs would turn out so good. Was also amazed how easily it came out of pan without greasing it. Moist and tasty.

Tackee David's Split Pea with Ham

Reviewed: May 29, 2014
I have tried lots of pea soups and this is the best! I used yellow split peas (not green) and did not add salt - I think there is enough salt in ham.

I am giving it a "5" because fresh orange juice is very nutritious, but I can't believe someone actually submitted a recipe for this. Dah!

Blueberry Lemon Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2013
If you like lemon you will love this recipe. I didn't have loaf pan so baked for 30 minutes in square pan. Ate half the pan in one day. Every bite leaves you wanting more. I think the square pan rather than loaf pan helps because there is more of a spreading of the glaze on top giving each bite more lemon taste.

Fresh Fruit and Yogurt Ice Pops

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2014
The kids loved this. Much more nutritious than store bought popsicles which are full of sugar and dyes. Very easy to make. I used popsicle holders which can be purchased in some grocery stores or Walmart.
