Pepperoni Pizza Pita

The whole family loves this because we can each make our own pizza. We use the wheat pitas and cut out a layer so it's not so thick.

This salad is awesome! My kids will even eat it. They like it as a salsa with chips. For personal preference, I leave out the red pepper and then use red onion instead of scallions. I also use small grape tomatoes cut in half. Sometimes I add fresh jalapeno slices. Lime and cilantro are 2 of my favorite accents; this salad wonderful!

Best Ever Muffins

I have never made muffins before. My husband took one bite and said these are the best muffins he's ever had. I thought he was joking or just being nice. But he was serious! I took someone else's recommendation and added about 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 cup blueberries and 1 cup white chocolate chips.

Taco Seasoning II

I accidentally reviewed the wrong recipe. This is the taco seasoning that I tried one evening when I realized I didn't have any pre-packaged envelopes. I'll never buy that stuff again. Just keep this in your spice cupboard and use as needed. I labeled the jar with the actual recipe so I can just quickly refill it when I run out. Thanks!

Deep-Fried Turkey Marinade

I was apprehensive about this recipe-so much cayenne pepper! We deep fried a turkey this weekend and it was spectacular! I served it with slow cooker mashed potatoes and sweet green been bundles. We enjoyed one of the best meals I have ever made!

Pumpkin Bread

This bread is so incredible! Great out of the oven and still so moist after being frozen. My husband likes it heated up with butter, and my Mom likes it with a little cream cheese. I eat it plain, but none of us can get enough!

Spinach and Tortellini Salad

I've been making a dish similar to this for potlucks all summer and it's a huge hit. I love the idea of adding fresh spinach. For a heavier salad, I add some chunks of Genoa salami.
