About this Cook
Im a mother of 5 kids, so we dont eat out much. im always looking for recipes to add to my collection. i like to bake. my husband grills, alot, i tried and burnt everything! so im staying in the kitchen and cooking there lol.
My favorite things to cook
i dont really have a favorite thing to make. but ive been told people really like my lasagna.
My favorite family cooking traditions
making christmas tree bread at christmas time. its just cinnamon bread shaped like a christmas tree. its been done a few generations, and im glad we still carry it out every year.
My cooking triumphs
ive entered items in the fair and my torte was a big success, as well as cinnamon rolls. the funny thing is they are some of the easiest recipes i have!
My cooking tragedies
when i was first married i was teaching myself how to cook and i didnt know what a clove of garlic was so i added the whole bulb! you got it minced up and everything! my poor husband was coughing and eyes watering, and drinking water like crazy. i felt awful at the time, but now its kinda funny
