Cream of Tomato

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
i will totally agree with one of the reviewers on here. whatever you do, make sure you DONT use the tomatos that have already been seasoned. i didnt think it would be all that bad because you add them in eventually but boy was i wrong!!! it was ineduble. a whole pot of soup down the drain. it smelled good but you really couldnt add anything to it to make it better.

Spaghetti Pizza Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
I had high hopes for this recipe since it got alot of good reviews and was a tad disappointed when we ate it as the flavor just did not jump out at me like I had hoped. I think I will try to add a little more seasoning, maybe italian seasoning to give it a boost and give it what this recipe needs to be a really excellent dish.

Yummy, yummy, yummy!!! I will just put it simply...it took everything I had not to consume the whole pie in one sitting. Yes, it is that good!

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
This was great! I did not add the roma's for the b/f's sake, and will probably add broccoli the next time for a little color, but, just as it was, it was great! Definitely worth the time and it really is a one pot wonder!

Oven Omelet

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
This wasn't great, but, good. Only down side, using frozen hashbrowns instead of thawed hashbrowns resulted in the oven for another 35 minutes.

Microwave Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
This turned out really good. Great flavor...only I ruined it! Trust me, don't take the short cut to not dirty up a baking sheet and use wax paper like I did. I used the wrong side, it stuck and we ended up throwing the whole thing away. I was majorly disappointed.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2009
Did nothing to change the recipe and it came out delicious and perfectly cooked. Even my 15 month old ate it! We used a smaller casserole dish and it fit perfectly and there were no leftovers because it was just that good!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
The only thing I did to change this was omit the spinach because no one in the house eats it. It was delicious. We are going to throw in some carrots and zucchini next time for a different twist. You have got to try this!! By the way, it doesn't take alot of dishes to do this recipe.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
Everyone in the house enjoyed this. I am glad I tried it. I made a few adjustments, but, it has been a couple of weeks since I made it, so, I really don't remember, but, not detrimental enough to mention. Try this, you will like it.

Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
The batter was extremely thick and I was afraid of moistness, but, I was pleasantly surprised when I cut my first piece! I have to say, this recipe was very easy! I think I will add some pecans and raisins the next time to give it a little more texture than it already has. A keeper!

Chops in Mushroom Gravy

This was very good. Butter seperates from the gravy a little during cooking, but, all in all this is one I would make again!

Hamburger Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
Well, I knew going in this would be bland, so, I just kept adding garlic salt and pepper between the layers. It turned out ok. I will put in some fresh mushrooms in the meat mixture next time and maybe add a few more spices to zing it up a little. Thank goodness I wasn't pressed for time because it took a full hour and the potatoes still weren't done.

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
This was excellent! I hesitated because of the stuffing, but, it melded perfectly with everything else. The only changes I made was to add a little spicy mustard on all the pieces of chicken before the swiss went on and top the swiss covered chicken with an entire carton of sliced mushrooms. Then I followed the directions from there. Excellent! Will definitely make again.

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
Needs a little help. Substituted one of the cans of cheddar soup for a jar of cheez wiz and upped the milk from 1/2 cup to a whole cup. Came out tasty, boyfriend said next time to put some spice to it and it would be great shredded to put in tacos.

Chicken Suiza Cornbread Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2006
This was really good after letting it cool. I used one egg in place of the egg substitue and a 7.5 oz. package of the bisquick mix in a pouch. I also omitted the mushrooms for the non-lovers. It came out fine. I have left over's today, but, not much. Worth a try!
