Well, I'm from Baton Rouge, LA.........go Southern Jags, LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints, Bay-Bey!!! I'm 28, an Aries ALL DAY and I love The Lord, My Family, food & music. Own my own music business with my Lil' Brother/roommate in Tallahassee, FL and you'll be hearing about it soon. Outside of music, I LOVE COOKING and EATING!!! I have a lot of other interests too but this is a cooking website, ya know. I've made alot of recipes from here and I must say this site is EXCELLENT!! The holidays, of course. All the gumbo and etouffee....Turducken....you ain't had real Southern cooking 'till you come down to the Bayou, Bay-bey. My Grandmother, Mom and Dad are definitely the ones who influenced me.
My cooking triumphs
Everytime I use a recipe for the first time and it comes out tasting like somebody's Momma did it!!!! LOL, LOL!!!
My cooking tragedies
Burnt toast. That's probably bout it. Don't play when it comes to the kitchen, Man. Had some dishes that didn't taste the way I wanted them to but everyone else thought they were fantastic. Guess we're our own harshest critic, ha?

The Best Meatballs
Next time I'll use a lot let cheese. Don't get it twisted.........they were excellent. But I wanted them to taste like meatballs, not Romano cheese balls. I wasn't able to fully appreciate the taste of the combination of the 3 different meats. Will still make again. You do want to bake them instead of frying 'em. Much easier.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole
Made as is. This was the best corn casserole I've ever had. Only thing I'm do differently next time just to see what it tastes like is adding a small amount of sugar simply because I like sweet cornbread however this recipe is awesome just the way it is.

Aussie Chicken
It was very flavorful. Didn't use the corn syrup but I did saute the mushrooms and the chicken in the bacon drippings. Next time I'll use regular mustard instead of the Dijon that the second most helpful reviewer stated. That gave the chicken a wasabi affect, causing some bites to flare hotness through my nostrils. Don't know WHAT that was about.
