Nut Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2004
this recipe was good, but the filling could be a tad sweeter. We will definatly make this again as the dough was a dream to work with, but we will simply add a little sweetness to the nuts

Pizza Dough II

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2004
This a truly wonderful dough recipe! I increased wheat flour to one cup and my family absolutly loved it! I used the Gourmet Chicken recipe from this site and it was wonderful. For the remaining dough I made stuffed calzones. Yum, will make this again and again! Thanks

What can I say, this recipe is simply delicious! My family were all skeptical until they tasted it. I added a layer of mild salsa over ranch dressing and the result was sonderful--also, I used the pizza dough II recipe which is also great-thanks!

Oatmeal Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2004
My husband loves oatmeal, so I thought I would try this recipe for his birthday. I myself, am not a sweet eater, but I have to say, this is probably the best cake I have ever eaten. Very moist and the melding of the oatmeal and cocconut is outstanding. I have already passed on this recipe and I plan to make it again soon--thanks for a great new flavor and great recipe.

Janet's Famous Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2004
I was very disappointed in this recipe. We all thought it was on the dry side, and lacked the "spongy" quality of a good quick bread--also, even with all the sugar, it lacked flavor, very dull-will not make this again

Six Spice Maple Cornish Hens

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2003
This is a wonderful recipe and even my daughter who hates "Little chickens" liked this one. I changed it a bit as I usually do with recipes and since it was raining and about 40 degrees, grilling was not an option. I mixed all everything together and made a glaze(I skipped the oil)I brushed all my game hens with the glaze and baked them.Wonderful!!

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2003
Used a little more apples and a lot less sugar and cinnamon, actually cutting both in half. I cooked it all day, cooled it and then reheated it the following day. I then canned it and it turned out well.

I thought this recipe was Wonderful. I added about 1/2 cup water and decreased butter in half. I also sprinkled brown sugar over entire recipe, making sure I covered sweet potatoes. My whole family enjoyed it. Will make again soon.
