Amazing Pork Chops in Cream Sauce

Reviewed: May 11, 2008
These were delicious. The first time I made it exactly as the recipe stated, adjusting the cooking time for my thicker chops. The second time I added a heaping tablespoon of flour to some of the cream before adding it to thicken it a little. Very Very good! Thank you for submitting it!

Turkey Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
I found this when looking for a recipe to use the leftover Thanksgiving turkey. It was great, we all enjoyed it very much. Only thing I did different was using packaged egg noodles instead of frozen. Thank you for submitting this recipe!

Grandpa's Classic Coney Sauce

Really good, I will definitely make this again. Also if you don't want to get out your mixer or food processor can get the meat fine if you use a potato masher on it as you're cooking it.

These were great, we made a double batch and I'm glad we did. There wasn't a crumb left.

Mexican Pizza

I made this for my 14 year old daughter's birthday and everyone loved it. My 19 year old daughter even asked for the recipe and she is pickier than anyone I have ever known! Also, another plus it is so easy even novice cooks can make it with ease. Thank you Sandra!

Outdoor Vegetable Skillet

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2007
This was spectacular, even my two year old loved it! I have made it exactly as is, which is wonderful but also added green pepper last time too and was great with that too and probably nearly any vegetable you can think of. Thanks for a great and easy recipe!

Raw Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
These would actually be healthier with cocoa. Carob has a lot of fat in it, when we were kids my mom was a health nut and basically ruined our childhood with that nasty stuff, it wasn't until we were grown and it was too late that they started reporting that carob wasn't very good for you.

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2010
This was by far the easiest AND best tasting crust I've ever made. I prefer a softer crust as I have young children so I use a baking sheet instead of a stone and it turned out wonderfully.

I love cornbread and cornmeal in every form and I searched a long time for a recipe like this. I served them for my kids with raspberry jam. Delicious!

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2007
These were really good. My daughter's favorite so I've made them a few times and they are MUCH easier to work with if the cheese sticks are room temperature instead of cold when you egg and bread them. GREAT RECIPE! Thanks!!!

Blueberry Meringue Pie

This tasted good but even with the cornstarch it didn't set and was as soupy as could be. I wouldn't make this again :(

Prize-Winning Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2006
These were very good and easy to make. My family loved them. I didn't substitute the buttermilk the first time I made them but if you have to a cup of milk mixed with a tablespoon of white vinegar works though actual buttermilk is the best as it is thicker.

Black Bean Pie

This was wonderful. It was so easy to make and clean up too and everyone in my family loved it. The only thing I did differently was add a bit of sour cream to each piece. Next time we'll try the bean mixture in burritos! Thanks Sherrie!

Cream Cheese Kolacky

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2005
These are my favorites, I have always loved them and this is the best recipe. I know the dough is a bit hard to work with but they are worth it and putting them in the fridge for a few in between rollings helps.

Graham Crackers

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
I was making magic cookie bars and had already melted butter for the crust when I realized my graham cracker crumbs were stale. So I made this recipe and pressed it into the pan with the 1/2 cup of melted butter already in the pan and baked the "crust" for 10 minutes at 350 I then finished the recipe as usual with the condensed milk, choc chips, nuts and coconut then baked at 350 for 25 minutes and I think this crust is even better than the original. Great recipe!

This is really good for kids who hate cooked tomato pieces but love chili and each bowl can easily be adjusted for heat with the addition of hot sauce.
