Grilled Teriyaki Tuna

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2013
We cooked this on the gas grill (used thick Teriyaki sauce) and it was perfect! The leftovers were warmed up and used on top of a Caesar salad the next day. I'm craving it all again!

Alison's Gluten Free Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
This recipe is easy and actually tastes good for GF. Two important things in my kitchen! I did add flax seed to the mix. I didn't use the bread machine for the first try, let it rise in the oven at 150 degrees, then baked at 350 for 35 minutes. Will make again.

Cauliflower-Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
This was exactly what I was looking for to use up vegetables in my fridge that had seen better days. I used a small head of cauliflower instead of a cup, skipped the flour and added a bit more cheese. It was already so thick with the extra cauliflower. DELISH!

Blue Ribbon Overnight Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
I've made this recipe several times for Thanksgiving and it comes out perfectly if you follow the directions. It's easy and bakes up quickly, you can trust this one to be a big hit. The leftover rolls, if there are any, are great filled with turkey salad. Another great way to use up those turkey leftovers.

Taiwanese Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
I used this recipe to pre-cook the pork for a stir fry. After frying, I chilled it overnight and then cut it into strips for the stir fry. I also tried it using seitan for a vegetarian version. Also very good.

I did add some chicken bullion, but otherwise followed the recipe. I finished it in the crock pot on low for 4 hours and served with fresh baked Rye bread and Caeser salad. Delish!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
I reduced the recipe to 4 servings, it made 4 big, fluffy pancakes. I used vinegar/milk for the buttermilk and it worked fine. I also added 2 TBSP of the Fiberex powder that usually goes in my breakfast banana shake. Delicious!

A great bread in a short time. A slice of this hearty bread and some yogurt makes a quick, healthy breakfast. I do believe I'm addicted to this bread.

Portuguese Sweet Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
This seems like a no-fail bread. I made a loaf without the bread machine, 30 mins at 350. It's very good. We had it with a salty dinner, smoked pork chops. Perfect!

Easy and delish. I had almonds on hand so I used them instead of pecans. I'm taking these to a super bowl party, and I know they won't last! Oh, so good....and easy!

Orange-Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
Yum! This is way too easy!! I used fresh picked carrots, and had only about 3 cups but kept the sauce the same. My grandson loved them, as did the rest of us. My new carrot recipe. Thanks, Robert.

Almond Crunch

I've made 5 batches, it always comes out perfect! Keep the jellyroll pan warm for easier spreading. I add more nuts on top so the chocolate doesn't melt on your fingers.
