Vanilla Glaze

I tried this recipe and had to change the milk quantity to 2-1/2 tablespoons to get it to mix to a "creamy" consistency. Once I did that it worked out very well and tastes fabulous on bread pudding and light chocolate bunt cake.

Chef John's Braised Lamb Shanks

This was pretty good. I omitted the hot peppers and added a tsp of crushed red pepper instead for a milder flavor. Also I didn't have any tomato paste so I diced a 1/2 thick slice of fresh tomato and added that to the onion sauce.

Slow Cooker Osso Buco

The vegetable sauce was good but over powered the flavor of the meat. It was pretty much tasteless. I'll try it again but add some additional spices when browning the veal; maybe some tarragon and reduce the amount of onion..
