Pizza Dough III

Reviewed: May 22, 2013
THIS recipe is way too sticky. Go with the reviews — it doesn't need a full cup of water. I added what I thought would be plenty extra flour and still couldn't begin to keep it from gluing itself to everything it touched. I may try it again, but with much less H2O.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2012
This really was exceptional! Both my husband and I LOVED it. I decided to try and keep it as close to the original as possible the first time. The only thing I changed was reduced the olive oil to 4T and just used salt and pepper to taste. I cooked the salmon for only 20 minutes. I did what another reviewer suggested and cooked at 350 for around 15 minutes then took off the foil and turned it to broil for another 5 minutes. The results were fantastic! It was so moist and the skin and garlic was slightly crispy and oh so delicious. We will definitely making this again and again.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
This recipe was delicious! The only things we changed were we used chicken broth instead of wine, and regular cream cheese, as we had none with chives. As some of the other reviewers pointed out, the sauce does seem to disappear because of the long cooking time. We make it with three chicken breasts, and it works perfectly. Neither of us are big eaters, and this would never work out as six servings. We have made this recipe several times and prefer it served over rice. Try it! You won't regret it!

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2012
These were definitely WAY too salty. They could be delicious if you lowered the amount of salt by at least half.

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
My husband and absolutely loved this casserole. I sent the recipe to my mom, and it was a hit for the entire family! The basil is what makes it so flavorful. We used Bisquick mix for the biscuits. It turned out perfect. Next time I want to try corn and a little more onion.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
My husband and I made this with Rotel instead of salsa, added whole black beans and corn, and used cheddar cheese and Italian mix for top. We left covered for 30 minutes then took of foil for last 10 minutes to make the cheese more crunchy. It was good, but not great. As other reviewers have stated, as written it is a quite bland. The corn and taste of the Rotel added a little more flavor.

Simply Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
A perfectly simple Parmesan chicken. I only wanted to cook 2 chicken breast, so I just eye-balled the rest of the ingredients. We used homemade buttery bread crumbs. They turned out wonderful, with plenty of flavor. We served with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Delicious!

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
Definitely a favorite in our house! We always double the recipe and bake in a 9x13 pan. Using melted butter instead of vegetable oil is a must. It makes the brownies ten times better. It's a great recipe to try different things with. We sometimes put white or semisweet chocolate chips in the mix. We have also been known to pour half of the mix in the pan, then pour a layer of melted caramel in the middle, then the rest of the brownie mix. Bake it at the same temperature for the same amount of time. It turns out perfect every time.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
My husband and I absolutely loved this soup. The only ham we had was lunch meat ham. We ended up using that and omitting the salt completely. The lunch meat combined with the bouillon cubes provided plenty of flavor. We also added chopped carrots. SO GOOD! Whenever we make this soup, we double it just so we can have leftovers. :)

Crispy Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
My husband and I made these for breakfast this morning and LOVED them. To make them just a little healthier we coated the bottom of the pan with a very thin layer of olive oil and cooked the pancakes on medium-low heat with the lid on. We waited until they were golden brown and flipped them once. They turned out perfect. There wasn't a starchy flavor whatsoever, and they were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. We served with eggs, applesauce, and ketchup. It made for a delicious, healthy, and filling breakfast.
