Austrian Jam Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
Ok,so I had to make a recipe from Austria for my history report...I'm not sure what the heck happened, but It turned out to be more of a soup-in-a-pan thing...I couldn't use it,It was truely nasty, but i see it turned out for some people,I guess i must have done something wrong...

Cheesy Ranch New Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
I added a bit of onion, garlic salt, and bacon bits, but it just didn't go over well with the kids, the hubby, or myself. The flavor of the ranch just wasn't right with the potatoes, I thought. It may be better on just a plain russett- just an opinion!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
YUM-YUM!! Used our leftover Christmas ham. Followed the recipe exactly except for the following: added celery seed, garlic powder, parsley, and brushutto(not sure if that's the right spelling on that one!) Wonderful consistency, and yes even tastier the next day- Thanks for a great, easy recipe!

Bacon Popovers

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
I found this to be very bland even with the pepper jack cheese that I added. Maybe it could be livened up with some salsa in the batter.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2005
This cake has very good flavor, everyone loved it and I had requests for the next occassion that I could make it. The only variation that I did was added a bit of lemon juice to the batter and then glazed the cake with a lemon curd glaze and a dust of powdered sugar. The only thing that I thought could make this better is if it was a bit more moist, mine was a touch dry, other than that...PERFECT!
