I followed the directions but the "glaze" or whatever you want to call it was so freaking thick! I let it simmer but the longer it simmered the thicker it got. By the time I had done my lattice work it was just a thick glob. Had to add water to it to thin it out and when I SLOWLY poured it on top it just became a giant praline. Next time I will add it to the apples immediately and then do my lattice work if I ever decide to use this recipe again.
