German Apple Pudding Cake

I made the mistake of following the recipe as writteing and and not heeding the advie of others. I agree that it is much too sweet (too much sugar and raisins). I would cut the cake sugar in half at least and 1/4 the icing & raisin amount in and on the cake. It overshadows the apples and it's much too rich and sweet with not enough cake. However, many of my friends did like it as is and asked for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Turkey Goulash

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

I cut down the sugar and paprika to a sprinkle on both sides. Other than the dry chicken, I did enjoy the flavor. Ten mins per side is too much.

Delicious Barley Bake

Thank you for this recipe! I love the use of multi veggies. If 28 ingredients is too many for some, they may just want to avoid it altogether but there is no need for them to rain on our hard-work ethic parade. If they want a quickie meal, they should grab a frozen, sodium-laden meal and avoid this recipe. Thanks again!

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

This soup is awesome! I left in all seasonings as written but added 2 extra cups water. I had a chayote squash and a sweet potato so I threw those in and it was great! It's really the spices and seasoning that give it flavor so any veggies will do I'm sure. It yields quite a bit so I froze the extra for another time.
