Chef Gordon Ramsay is my hero!
I am in college for Architecture, it took me three years to decide what I wanted to do. I live with my fiancé and we love to experiment with our cooking and I love to have friends & family get togethers. I am very active and I love eating healthy, I work at GoodLife and I love my two dogs. I love autumn, but like everyone, summer is the best time to really have a blast. I enjoy almost anything and everything.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook pretty much anything. My top most recurring meals would be chicken, salmon, (he loves salmon) and stir-fry. I want to learn new meals and new techniques, and to be able to time my meals on-time better.
My favorite family cooking traditions
French Onion Soup
Thanksgiving and Christmas
Thanksgiving pumpkin cake - My Mom
My fiancé and I have a tradition of drinking a lot of wine then going nuts in the kitchen. The best dinners fall into our hands that way, but come morning we do not recall much of the cooking strategies.
Also, my dogs get an amazing dish at Christmas and their birthdays.
My cooking triumphs
I have amazed myself a few times, but I never remember the recipes. I kind of just cook and hope it turns out excellent. I did however rock a lamb dinner one time, but that memory of how I did it is long gone. I like experimenting a lot.
My cooking tragedies
I ruined my mashed potatoes and it was an honest "not-paying-attention" mistake. I haven't made tragedies actually, unless you count it not tasting the best or being over cooked. To me, a cooking tragedy would be whenever my eggs are too hard, it is one thing I will not tolerate! :)
