I make these all the time. They are delicious and everyone who tastes them absolutely loves them. I have made every variation you have listed, and have even sold them at bake sales. I think they are even better after sitting in a sealed container overnight. So moist! I do use a food processor though; makes them really quick and easy to put together. I do not put them on the bottom rack, I use the middle. I am afraid the bottoms would burn in my ovenWonderful with tea, or a cup of coffee. I might have to try some of the additions others have tried. Cherry Almond are my favorite!
