Honey Nut Sticky Buns

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
I had some frozen rolls that were accidentally left out on the counter and they thawed. I needed a recipe to use up the dough because I couldn't re-freeze it. I found this one and all I can say is it was AWESOME. My family can't stop talking about how yummy these were. The only difference I made was to not use salt in the topping and I didn't put pecans inside the rolls. Also, my brown sugar was hard as a rock so I put it in the pan with about 1/8 cup of water first to dissolve it. Then I went on with the recipe as written. The water may have helped the bread stay moist but I don't know for sure. Next time I make these I'll use my own white bread recipe and maybe put some sliced Granny Smith apples in the topping. Thanks!

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
This was a big hit! I didn't have bread crumbs so I crumbled up Ritz crackers instead. My family loved it. 12 minutes was very rare. We like rare meat but I had to give it a bit longer. I picked up the meat at Costco for a great price.

Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2013
I think I like these better than using heavy cream. The slight tang cream cheese with the sweet of the sugar and chocolate is rich. I only used 2C of the powdered sugar and I added 2T of Amaretto. They are divine!

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
This is excellent! I followed other's suggestions and I doubled the ingredients on the rub. I pushed crushed garlic into holes in the meat. I covered it for the first two hours and cooked it at 300 degrees. When I basted it, I first took a knife and stabbed it so the sauce would seep into the meat better. My family loved it.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
I had a delicious Tortilla soup in Austin once and I've been searching for one like it ever since. The soup was more broth-y instead of being a thick stew and all the recipes I found, while many were good, none had the consistency I enjoyed so much in Austin. This one is the closest and it has great flavor. Thanks for the terrific recipe!

Served this for my in-laws and everyone loved it. Husband gave it 5 stars and insists it is a "do-over" again and again.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2013
I used rice vinegar instead of lemon because I didn't have lemon. I also did not have white pepper so I left that out and used 1 tsp of hot sauce. I put it in the Foodsaver marinade container and let the machine do its thing for about 30 minutes. Family loved it! I will use this marinade many times again!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
This is awesome and so easy! I followed other reviewers and added the browning sauce (2 tsp) and about 2 tsp of garlic. I did not have 7-8 hours but I also only cooked 2lbs of meat so I put it on high and let it cook for 4 hours. Then I pulled it out, cut it and put it back in with 2 tsp of lite salt. I let it cook another 45-55 minutes while I toasted the rolls and melted the provolone. My family loved this recipe! Thanks so much!

White Chocolate Amaretto Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
This is an awesome cake! Made it exactly to the recipe. One thing I think I will do different next time is to try to time it so the glaze is only just ready when the cake comes out of the oven. I made it too soon and it thickened a bit so it did not go into the holes as deep.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
Yummy! I used my bread recipe (no bread machine) and the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture with the icing. I made some with crushed pecans and some without. The family loved it.

Awesome!! Added a little green onion to the cheese mixture and used an Asiago/Parmesean cheese mixture in the cream cheese with Elk sausage. Wrapped them in bacon slices. TO DIE FOR!

I've made this many times and it is always a hit. It is very rich. My son begs me to make it frequently. I don't change a thing on the recipe. It's much easier than you might think.

Great recipe! Followed it exactly for the first time but need to try it with sausage instead of ham next time. I love that this is versatile.
