You are what you eat. Before I was married,  ** years ago, while I was dating, briefly mind you, I would ask the big question while trying to get to know a potential life partner: "If you were on death row, what would your last meal consist of?" From appetizer and beverage to dessert  I pose the same question here... The answer can really tell you a lot about a person. Interesting... Of course I never had my sights set on anyone on death row, the bar was slightly higher. My now husband answered me back then "Baked beans and buttered bread" He was a winner with that answer because I knew then he was not going to be high maintenance! And the rest is history!

Hi Buffy! I'm certain my last request would be a bottle or two of Chardonnay. That way I would go down with a smile on my face!

I'd have to say Filet Steak with sauteed mushrooms & onions roasted diced potatoes, a glass of a nice dry white wine, and a slice of my Banoffee Pavlova or Baileys Cheesecake for dessert!

Pizza from Infusino's in Racine, one chicken and one cheese enchilada from Taco's El Rey in Racine (or Kenosha), since they are already there they might as well pick up some of their guacamole and chips. Why not add a big, greasy bacon cheeseburger loaded with mayo and grilled onions? I'd have to think about from where though. For dessert it would probably be brownies (Ghiradelli box mix double chocolate is fine with me!) I figure I've cooked enough in my life and I'd probably be too critical of anything they prepared of mine and wouldn't enjoy it. I'm going to die anyway so maybe I'll die of a heart attack eating my last meal. Oh, for a drink, it'd be Sprecher's Rootbeer brewed in Milwaukee.

My last meal....hmmm....I think I would go for a rib eye steak med rare - more on the rare side with A1 sauce, baked potato and cauliflower. For dessert creme brulee sp? and a baileys on the rocks. I would have a nice glass of red- probably open the Staglin cellar bottle in the chiller.

Interesting question....I think I'd have to go with Corn on the cob, taco dip, baked potato (with the crusty skin), ham with homemade dill dip to dip it in(yum), a large bottle of spiced rum with sprite, then probably some more taco dip for the drunken munchies. maybe some cheesecake for desert!! weird combo but that's how I roll!!!

Fresh melon from my garden wrapped in procuitto, Tai chiken lettuce wraps, tempura vegetables, sushi with plenty of wasabi, my raspberry creme brulee - likely would make me ill - but heck what would I care?

Once while making a cheesecake using a blender (before the days of processors) I lost my grip on a wooden spoon while the blender was running and it made a perfect circle of batter bordering my entire kitchen. Ouch! I can't beleive I shared that.
