Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2013
This is the BEST chocolate chip cookie there is. I don't like crunchy cookies so these are perfect. I follow the recipe exactly and they turn out great every time. I slowly add the pudding mix and then the flour. I will say if I make a full batch, my mixer starts to get bogged down at the end because there is so much batter, but if you have a nice, top of the line mixer I doubt that would be an issue. I have halved the recipe and it turned out just fine. Out of preference I do not usually add the walnuts. Also, sometimes I like to change it up and do half chocolate chip and half white chocolate chip. Yum! Can't get any better! Thank you for sharing!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2007
Delicious. Rave reviews all around. I used Smart Balance Light instead of butter, and light mayo; added 1/2 c. Italian flavor bread crumbs, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, and sprinkled Old Bay on each side of the fish before broiling. Even my fish-hating husband likes this one!

Poppy Seed Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2007
I was looking for a way to use up a bunch of fried chicken that I had left over from a reunion, and tried this recipe. It was fantastic! Loved the texture and the flavor. I've made it again with other kinds of chicken and it wasn't quite as good, but still wonderful. Thanks.

Oven-Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2007
These were really good and easy to make. I cut the amount of oil a bit and put it right in the plastic bags with the potatoes & seasonings. They came out nicely crisp on the outside, tender inside and very tasty. Thanks!

Crabmeat Canapes

Reviewed: May 4, 2007
I found these good but just a little too salty on my first batch; the next time I substituted garlic powder for the garlic salt and they were just right! Really easy and convenient to freeze ahead for parties, too. Everyone who has tried them loves them.

White Chocolate Pumpkin Dreams

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
These were so yummy! I made them as Christmas cookies and they disappeared faster than all my family's usual favorites. I had no trouble removing them from the pan after letting them cool a minute or two, though you do have to use some care. These will definitely be part of my Christmas baking from now on.
