Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2014
There are a couple recipes that are identical for this eclair, so I want to post on all. This is wonderful. I thought it was good, but my friends absolutely raved. I made just as recipe calls, don't change a thing!

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2014
Made this for a potluck party Friday, I thought it was good, but the friends RAVED!! I could not believe the compliments I got. Of coarse I had fresh strawberry rhubarb pie at home! But all aside, I like to have something always in my pantry for a quick dish to bring and this will be perfect! I made this exactly as the recipe called, however I used dark chocolate frosting, but that isn't much of a change (and dark chocolate is healthy isn't it?)

Glendora's Chocolate Fudge Pudding (Cake)

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
This recipe is for "chocolate cake and syrup"; not pudding. It is like others have said, "runny" "delicious" "chocolate fix". Make it in a 9 inch square pan; serve right from the pan, scoop out cake, a scoop if ice cream, then top with the syrup. It is wonderful.

Chicken Provolone

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
This is an excellent company coming dinner, I'm making it today for 18 people tonight! I can make this now, 10 a.m., refrigerate and pop in the oven an hour before serving, doesn't get easier. I love all the different suggestions and everyone will work, that is the best part about a caserolle like this. Remember the alchahol in the wine evaporates when it is cooked, so it is a flavor only. I have made this many times over the past 5 years and no one has been disappointed.

Champagne Shrimp and Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
I had some (freezer burned) shrimp that I wanted to use, and even with that it was excellent! Next time I'll follow the recipe exactly; this time I sub'd canned mushrooms, didn't have any shallots - and it was STILL great! I had grape tomatoes, and didn't cut them before cooking. Cutting adds a LOT of flavor.

Sour Cream Cut-Outs

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
I agree with Jan, for the same reasons. It goes together well, and rolls, etc. nicely. But the flavor just isn't there. I tried adding a little lemon zest but still on the 'flat' side for my family's taste.

Pumpkin Roll with Crunchy Peanut Butter Cream

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
I am a good baker, and typically a sweet is what I bring to the many potlucks here where we live. I wanted something interesting for Sunday's brunch party, and what a hit! Just the presentation is wonderful. I didn't put the carmel on because I am not a fan of carmel, and I thought it would be too sweet for a morning dish, so I just piped whipped cream along the sides. It was really good. Make sure you put the almond oil in, it really adds a lot!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
Pat, a great cook for Ameritech in Saginaw, MI, made the BEST bread pudding! This is it! She always told us it was easy! I used cinnamon bread, and it was a little on the sweet side for me, next batch will only have 1/2 cup sugar; but I'm making it again tomorrow! I looked at, at least, 40 different recipes from different web sites, and based on recommendations chose this "perfect" recipe.
