Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
I didn't feel like making a crust so I used a pie crust and cut the portion size down to 8. Baked the bottom pie crust in the oven for 20 minutes to reduce the chances of it turning out soggy. While baking the bottom pie crust, I mixed together the ingredients. I had a couple cans of peaches on hand and used those. (Lite Del Monte peaches). Turned out DELICIOUS! Served with butter pecan ice cream for a little different taste.

Turns out great every time and is a great way for me to have cooked chicken on hand for the rest of week's dinners!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
Very rich and tasty. My fiance LOVED it. I found that it was best served when I warmed the raspberry sauce and drizzled it over the top.

Maple-Balsamic Marinated Steak with Grilled Pear Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2013
The marinade was pretty bland for me - I even added Worcestershire as another recommended. I used feta cheese instead and thought the salad itself was pretty delicious.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2013
Very good recipe but I changed the following: 3 tablespoons of garlic, one tablespoon of sugar. I did not add salt due to all of the recipes saying it made their lasagna too salty - Next time I'll use garlic salt since I felt there wasn't enough garlic taste (my family LOVES garlic) and instead of using sweet italian sausage I will be trying a spicier version. I did use slices of mozzarella cheese but wonder what fresh mozzarella will do for the end result so I'll be trying that next time. Either way this recipe is a keeper! :)

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Very good recipe. Will add more mushrooms next time, also made about double the sauce as others recommended. Served with asparagus.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
Like other users, I added worcestershire sauce to both the meatloaf and sauce as well as garlic powder to the meatloaf. I think next time I will add a dijon mustard to the sauce so it's not SO sweet but has a little tang and spice. Other than that, it is very tasty.

Eggless Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
Like others, I doubled my peanut butter and I added Reese's peanut butter chips. The cookies turned out just "OK". There was nothing so great about them that I'll ever attempt to make them again.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Loved it! I have made it a couple times now, and I have adopted some of the ideas from other reviewers: adding shredded carrots and using heavy whipping cream instead of milk. This last time I used a red onion too. Very good and it will definitely be on rotate in this house!

Mushroom Risotto

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
I thought this was pretty terrible, actually. The heavy whipping cream made it waaayyyy too rich. Rich and bland... You might ask if that is possible, and I assure you that with this recipe, it is.

Stuffed Shells III

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2012
This is the first time I've ever made stuffed shells so I was very happy when they turned out absolutely wonderful even with my own changes to the recipe. I read over the reviews and decided to half the recipe because I did not need so much for only two people! I used a large jar of Classico Tomato Basil sauce but upon adding the mushrooms I felt like it was going to be too little from the start. So I added in a roma tomato, half of a white onion, fresh parsley, a can of tomato paste, garlic powder and some oregano. I'm not a fan of dealing with slippery noodles and having to spend a ton of time fighting to get a stuffing in them so I baked them raw at 325 degrees for an hour. Turned out just fine! Oh, and for the stuffing I eliminated the egg and added spinach. Thanks for sharing!! :)

Chicken Scarpariello

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
I thought this was pretty tasty, though like other reviewers have said the sauce can be pretty thin. I'd like to try cooking this once again and making the sauce thicker and maybe a little less tart. My boyfriend thought it was really good though.
