Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
Pretty good, easy recipe. I used left over rotisserie chicken and brown rice then served with tortilla chips. My kiddos loved it and asked for more. Will make again.

Very good and different. Next time I'll use fresh flake crab - I only had imitation crab on hand.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
Fantastic with no left overs. As a time saver, I used a rotisserie chicken. Definitely a favorite and will make again and again.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
Very, very good. I left out the fennel seed, used no boil lasagna noodles and baked for 1 hr on 375. Next time, I'll limit the salt.

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2010
Fun recipe for a Saturday morning and my 4 year old loved helping. We had fresh strawberries for some and cherry pie filling for others. We also added whipped cream in each crepe for extra yummy-ness!

Shredded French Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
I absolutely screwed this recipe up. I bought the wrong soup, opened the wrong soup, used the wrong soup and then forgot the bouillon. That kind of day. However, it turned out great and the meat was tender. I toasted the bread and melted provolone over the meat. I then used mayo and horseradish to finish it off with a side of the aus jus. Great recipe and I'm excited to try it the way it was intended.

this was just ok for us. I made adjustments as others suggested but this didn't have the punch I was hoping for.

Very good and easy. The sauce is ok - I'm going to play around with it and come up with something equally as easy but a little better tasting.

This was just ok. No real wow factor but after reading the other reviews of those obviously impressed, I'll try it again and see if I have a different result.

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
Fantastic recipe! It feeds an army so be prepared. I made the cajun seasoning recommended and put in 1/2 the cayenne due to small children. It still had a great flavor and enough kick but not overwhelming. I also used Aidells Cajun Sausage and it was a nice addition. This is definitely a favorite.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
this was a disaster. I thought this would be a great option to take to my company potluck and actually keep the stuffing warm. i read the reviews prior and made changes per suggestions but it was a total mess. I left out the mushrooms and cut back on the liquid but it was still mushy on the inside and completely unappetizing to look at from the outside. I won't waste time trying this one again.

Baked Whole Cauliflower

Not impressed. Basically it was just cauliflower with bread crumbs. My family won't eat cauliflower and I was hoping to open their minds. It didn't work.
