Chef John's Corned Beef and Cabbage

Over the years, I have tried many different recipes for corned beef and cabbage, but this is the tastiest! Once the potatoes were placed into the pot for cooking, I searched the web for a horseradish sauce recipe since I love boiled potatoes with it. I was happy to find one from Chef John. In my opinion, No need for horseradish on the brisket. It is that good! Using the left over brisket to make his version of Corned Beef Hash for breakfast tomorrow.

Stuffed Pork Chops III

Super easy! No need for adjusting recipe at all. I like this recipe because it wasn't smothered with a can of cream of mushroom.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Review based on Making the glaze only. I seared my filets in a cast iron skillet using left over bacon grease. The bacon was used in making the twice baked potato recipe on this site.

Roasted Kohlrabi

First time eating kohlrabi ever...and it was so yummy! Received only 3 kohlrabi's from my local veggie bin, so I added 2 small zucchini's with it. They both complemented each other in flavor and texture.

Pork Tenderloin Diablo

First time using this method of cooking for a pork tenderloin. Loved it! No plans on using any other way of cooking it from now. The Dijon sauce was excellent. No complaints on spice level here in our house.

Chef John's Shrimp Etouffee

Since I am allergic to shrimp, I omitted it and instead added browned chicken at the very end. Excellent!! You'll never be disappointed with a recipe from Chef John.

Kickin' Collard Greens

My husband is from the South and I never had collards before meeting him. He made collards and I would "eat them"..or would I say choke them down. Even tried them at local bbq resturants to appease him. Eww! But since this recipe I LOVE THEM!! This recipe rocks! Even better if you get your greens from your local CSA!
