Strawberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2003
Wow, this was AWESOME! I used 5 cups of strawberries and just about doubled the dough. This fit perfectly in the 2 quart baking dish.

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2003
This is great! Comes out very crispy. Just be sure to put lots of spices in the soup mixture and the flour that the soup coated chicken is rolled through. I even put a bit of hot sauce in the soup mixture. If you are going for buffalo chicken I'd suggest making the hot sauce seperate and just use it for dipping. If the crispy chicken is toss in hot sauce the crust absorbs the hot suace and turns to mush.

Strawberry Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2003
Awesome recipe! I cheated a bit by buying a ready made crust but saved a lot of prep time. Also I put down a layer of sliced strawberries in the crust before pouring in the filling, turned out to be a great way to cram more strawberries in!

Twice-Cooked Coconut Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2003
Mmmm! Instead of the dipping sauce mentioned here, I use sweet chili sauce... the best brand being Mae Ploy which is sold at Fred Meyer.

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2003
Very good stuff! I would not put in any bacon bits. I found you need about 46 jalapeno halves for this much cheese. Also you'll need a little more breadcrumbs than mentioned, I found 5 toasted and grated slices does ~30 jalapeno halves. Make a lot and freeze the rest! Goes nicely with the Guacamole recipe on this site by Bob Cody.

Margaritas to Die For

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2003
I absolutely loved this recipe! I won't have on the rocks any other way! I used Cointreau instead of Grand Marnier. I think a cup may be a little strong, though I use the quantities listed here to make just 2 drinks, not 4.
