Just made this for hubby. I only lacked powdered sugar. I warms some blue berries and tossed them into the middle before plating. He loved it.

Bacon Gravy for Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2015
This is the perfect way to make bacon and sausage gravy. Some meats are pretty lean though so you do need to make sure there is enough fat to match your flour, tbsp to tbsp. This is THE GRAVY recipe. Occasionally I add a tsp of sugar to change it up a little, other than that, this is the only country gravy recipe I ever use. In the cases where there may not be enough drippings just add the appropriate amount of butter (not margarine-EVER). I always use a fork for the stirring but a whisk is the best tool. It does require a lot of whisking and make sure you cook the flour for about 2 minutes prior to slowly whisking in your milk.

Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
I made it as directed and it is absolutely delicious! In my opinion it needs no other spices, the parmesan has just enough salt and flavor. And DON'T overcook it! The cooking time is right on. Overcooked chicken is dry and tastes nothing like tender, juicy chicken. This recipe is one of my favorites and I've cooked it 3 times in the last month :)

Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2012
This is the best sauce I've ever made. My husband always tells me my sauce tastes like compared to his mothers. When I made this he said "Wow! This is just as good if not better than Mom's!" So, I will use this over and over. I'm making for the 2nd time right now, didnt have any stewed tomatoes so I'm using two cans of chopped, I blended one and kept the other the way it was out of the can, I think the little pieces of tomato add a dimension to the sauce. Thanks for this recipe, it's so wonderful!

Leftover Ham And Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
I put in more ham, sliced into bite sized pieces because I had it. I also read that it was bland so I seasoned it a bit more with some garlic salt and such. After the noodles cooked down and there wasnt much water left, I put it in the oven (lid on) at 180 to hold till we were ready to eat it. I added a bit of butter and stirred it up before plating, and sprnkled some parm on and it was a good sit in front of the tv with some bread and butter meal.
