First off let me say that I'm not an authority on funnel cakes, its really not my carnival treat, but my hubby loves them, so when I prepared this recipe, he liked it, and so did I! All in all we loved it, I gave it four stars only because of the batter, it was hard to manuever it in the hot oil, but once its done and sprinkled with powdered sugar(which is addictive by the way):) I loved it!

I loved it, I made only half of the recipe, but its very, very good! I did use another member's suggestion and I used all butter instead of butter and shortening, it was very good and chewy!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

I have searched Hi and low for a recipe like this. My hubby has always critized my mac and cheese, he likes his a certain way. Well he said, "this is your best yet" Now that saying something, this recipe is cheese and creamy. Yummmyyy!!

French Toast II

I loved this recipe. I did modify it instead of milk I used heavy cream, and for the bread I used Pepperidge farms french vanilla bread! Yummy! Be sure not to let your bread too long, I usually just coat one side, then the other and onto the hot skillet! Yummy

Dry Rub for Ribs

Although I like the rub, my husband thought It was a little too sweet for his liking. All in all this was my first time cooking ribs and the meat was falling off the bone, this was great! So I had leftovers all to myself is that a bad thing?

Pineapple Glaze for Ham

Loved it, the family loved it. the liquid from the pineapple glaze was so good, you have to make more just to pour over the meat after slicing. Next time I will make more sauce

Chicken and Dumplings III

Simple!,Simple!,Simple! I loved this recipe, the easiest and fastest dinner I ever made, and very delicious. I did follow other suggestions like using the half cup of white wine and using chicken broth to boil chicken in, and since I don't like cream of celery, I used cream of chicken and mushroom. Absolutley faboulous!

Easy Turkey Tetrazzini

My whole family enjoyed this dinner, my daughter (who is 3) and my son (16months) ate it up. My daughter finnished with her plate and went to eat mine. The only thing I did different from the recipe was I used cream of mushroom and used half cream of chicken then followed the recipe. All in all great!

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

I have tried for four years to find a peach cobbler recipe that my husband could be proud of, without mentioning his mother's cobbler. I finally found one, this recipe is great! Even though I used shortcuts, like buying pre-made pie crust, and frozen peaches instead of fresh the recipe made it seem that I slaved all day. Totally great recipe! Thank you!
