Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

Reviewed: May 31, 2012
Good soup (I did change it a little, that is why I only gave it 4 stars) I like my soup a little thicker so I added some potato flakes. I want to try this with some garlic, etc. I will make this again. We all liked it.

Followed the recipe exactly. These were great. I always have trouble baking banana bread, and these muffins are the way to go. Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
Very good. I added 2 cups rice and 4 cups water to fill up the crockpot a little more (I find my crockpot cooks better if it is 1/2-3/4 full)

Thai-Style Peanut Sauce with Honey

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2012
Excellent, I followed the advice of other reviews and only used one tablespoon of rice vinegar, and to cut down on the fat I used 2 tablespoons of water and one tablespoon of evoo (becasue I didn't have any sesame oil). Great recipe, thanks for sharing!

Ham and Pear Panini

I forgot the mustard and pepper, but the added pear was great. Nice twist on a ham an cheese panini. I will try this again and use the mustard next time. Thanks for sharing.

Sunday Afternoon Slow-Cooked Spare Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
I used the recipe for just the sauce, nice flavor, a little too much Worcestershire sauce (I would use half that amount) and a little too sweet. The nutmeg was fine. I added 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch to make it thicker. I will make it again.

Potato Latkes I

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
These were good, I followed the other reviews and used 2 eggs. I also used old bay seasoning instead of salt (came out very much like crab cakes without the crab!). Don't forget to ring out the moisture from the potatoes before adding the other ingredients. I'll make these again. Good reheated too.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
I used almost 4 cups of flour and made it in the bread maker. Would give it 5 stars, but it really needed more flour.

Mom's Baked Egg Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
I didn't use butter or bacon. I sprayed the cups in the muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray and flattened the bread into each cup. I drizzled syrup into each cup with bread. I took the advice of other reviews and mixed the salt with 6 beaten eggs and divided that evenly into the 12 medium sized muffin cups lined with flattened bread. I added about 1-2t teaspoons of milk to each. Then baked them for about 15-18 min or until the egg was firm. They were very good this way too. Much healthier as well.

Nicole's Avocado Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
This was ok as written, but I loved the idea (I used fat free cottage cheese and it makes it much healthier than using almost all avacado). I would have given it 5 stars but I had to add garlic (2 cloves) and lime juice (1Tbsp) and cilantro. Other wise, great idea, using fat free cottage cheese to add some protein.

This was very good. I doubled the amount of potatoes, and the thyme, but the thyme was a little too much.

Curry Pumpkin Soup

this was just OK... the pumpkin was a little too bland even with the spices. and I used coconut milk thinking it would give it more flavor... it still was not that good

BBQ Pork Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
I like it, and all my guest liked it too. I tried it with half of the pizza with pickles and the other half no pickles. Both were good. I also sprinkled on french fried onions the last 5 min of baking to half of the pizza. All very good. Much better than the traditional pizza sauce.
