First Baby Food: Peas

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2014
Formula could be used instead of breast milk. Some blenders work better than others. It is ok to keep adding more liquid until you get the consistency your baby likes. If you make it too liquidy, you can always add rice cereal or oatmeal after thawing it.

Second Baby Food: Carrots and Broccoli

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2014
I would give it 5 stars because the carrots give it a sweet flavor that most babies like. However, 20 minutes is about half the time it takes for carrots to soften. Where as broccoli does not take as long as carrots to soften. I would not steam these together again. Do carrots and then broccoli and then blend them together.

Tasty Lentil Tacos

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2014
The lentils took much longer to cook and I had to add more water. My husband really like them, I thought they were just ok. Did add the salsa as they were cooking.

Wasabi and Soy Sauce Hummus

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2014
It was ok. My husband didn't like it. If it was just for me, I would make it with less soy sauce.

Barley Lime Fiesta Salad

Reviewed: May 11, 2014
This was Ok, but missing something, I added a squirt of FF Italian dressing and it was much better. As is only 3, but better if you add the Italian dressing

Oven Baked Omelet

Reviewed: May 11, 2014
This was very good. I did add a little garlic powder, and onion powder because I didn't have any green onions. I mixed in a bag of frozen broccoli which I microwaved first. It wasn't near done by 30 min (most likely because of the broccoli), so I ended up baking for almost 50 min.

Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2014
This was soooo good! I didn't have any lemon juice, or Dijon mustard, so I used 1 tsp brown mustard and 1 tsp lime juice. I added one more tsp water to make it blend better. Use a food processor, and then add the chopped celery. I love this recipe!

Easy Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2014
Don't try to double the recipe unless you are using more than one dish to bake it in. I also added onion powder and garlic powder, it really needed it.

Easy Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
Never had better cabbage. Followed everything, but omitted the carrots because we don't like cooked carrots. This was great and I am not a fan of beef or potatoes, but this was soooo good.
