Lamb and Rice Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2013
Incredible. Love lamb. What is not to love with a $1 cabbage and oooops $6.99/lb ground lamb. Absolutely delicious and the aroma from the spices in the warm pan.... lovely. Yes, chef, to put the spice in the oil is correct!!! Fat does distribute that through the meat more than actually putting it on the meat. I used 'Jasmine' rice, the only ingredient I changed. Absolute nirvanna with a stuffed cabbage. Thank you for sharing this.

Sausage Casserole

This is incredible! Thank you for this recipe as it was awesome. And yes, change it up some too. Like the idea of the frozen hash browns. Made your original and changed it up some, used some ham too. WOW, this is a dinner staple here with my fresh eggs as well as a wonderful breakfast... but those fresh eggs get eaten in the AM here! Oh and the addition of some sweet red and green fryer peppers are delicious. Thank you for the GREAT START OF GOOD EATS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never would have thought to use the cottage cheese!!!

Mom's Zucchini Pie

Just add some bacon!!!! Of course fry it up and crumble into the mix. YUM. Or diced cooked ham or even cooked sausage!!! Savory. Serve with a salad and it is dinner.

Holiday ONLY Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
Nope, you do not have to peel a red potatoe:) The skin is fleshy and add some health to that cream. I LOVE HEAVY CREAM. AND REAL BUTTER!!! The Russets I do peel. Find them even better than the overpriced Yukons. Irish girl here, and I do not like to do the dishes, pair of glove mits and pour off the water, return the spuds to the pan on the low burner, hmmm, excess moisture evaporates. Add my butter and the heavy cream to the potatoes in the same pan and let it bubble just a bit. Off of the burner and mash the old fashioned way. Aaaaah, these can not be beat by any chef!!!!! AND sometimes I even beef it up by adding White Cheddar.

Wild Rice Stuffed Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
If you are veg, try and give this dish moisture by adding sliced apple. Ooooh so yum. I am not veg, but I add apple suasage slices to this. Again for the meat eaters out there, YUMMY. The sausage and apple go nicely with the wild rice. A little brown sugar and "REAL" butter are the key.
