This was a very good dessert. My family and I enjoyed it very much. I used pears in place of peaches because of the time of year no fresh peaches.

Green Bean Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
We all liked this so much it will be Sunday dinner once in a while. I used chicken with bone and skin, I seasoned the meat with salt and pepper, and cooked it in the same skillet I made the bacon. I used frenches fried onion rings on top of the green beans instead of bread crumbs. I used a half of the soup can of milk to loosen the soup a little. So much flavor and the meat was juicy and tender.

Aunt Mabel's Molded Avocado Salad with Toasted Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
I liked it, Mom loved it, Husband thought it was okay. The texture is creamy, the flavor is sweet lime, not overly sweet so it can be a salad or as mom says a dessert. The dressing is something I can live without but it does go well with the jello mold. I loved the texture so smooth and creamy.

Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2012
A nice crisp cookie with a very good flavor. I only used about half the amount of butterscotch chips I think 12 oz would have been way to many.

Pork Chops with Apple Cider Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2012
Easy recipe and a lovely flavor. The chops where juicy and tender and the glaze went well on the pasta I served with the chops. I will no doubt make this again. I followed almost to the tee this recipe except I only used 3 chops and I used chops with a bone.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2012
This will be my go to soup when I want mushroom soup for any reason. I over did the paprika and my soup was redder then most the pictures I looked at even still it was so good. Easy to make taking very little time to complete.

Orange Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2012
I am on the fence about this cookie, it is so cake like it almost isn't a cookie. They don't hold together well you need to serve them with a plate or napkin because they are crumbly and do fall apart. They are light and moist even 2 days later they are still nice and soft. They are a tasty cookie and everyone enjoyed them, still I am not sure I would ever make this cookie again.

German Leek and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
This was so good. I used ham broth that I had made and frozen earlier in the year and there was so much flavor. If I made it using a bone I would boil the bone longer then 20 minutes to get the most flavor from it.

Quick and Flavorful Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2012
I steamed fresh carrots, cauliflower, and frozen green beans. My family and I all felt it was way to salty tasting and would have been happier with just good ole steamed vegetables. I won't use this recipe again.

Quinoa with Veggies

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2012
This idea gets 5 stars from me. I used zucchini, red bell, and peas they were a perfect match. I also used Garam Masala spice instead of just Cumin.I was reaching for my Cumin when I saw the Masala it has Cumin in it and I thought what the hay. It was very very good. If I hadn't seen this recipe and the poster hadn't pointed out other vegetables that would work just as deliciously my Quinoa would still be sitting on my shelf unused and unappreciated. So for the inspiration this recipe gave me I give it 5 stars.

I cut the recipe in half and used less milk. It turned out good, a nice creamy sauce with crunchy onion rings.
