Red Curry Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
I omitted the fish sauce, I had a London broil on hand so I used that and marinated over night and all day. Thanks to rain and wind I cooked it on the broiler very good flavor every one liked it. I will try this again when the weather drys out and we can fire up the grill. Up Date I finally was able to fire up the grill, so much better when you do it on the grill. This steak went from we liked it to we REALLY liked it.

Black Bean Casserole

Reviewed: May 14, 2013
I will make this again like others I used canned beans rinsed and drained. I had made a spicy rice and pork chop so the blandness of this dish worked well with my dinner however the next time more seasonings will be added.

Strawberry Chicken

Reviewed: May 8, 2013
As written this is a 4 star recipe, with a few changes like salt and pepper the meat before marinating it can be a 5 worthy of company. I used fresh rosemary and marinated for 5 hrs. I browned the meat on the stove top made the marinade as directed replaced the meat covered and placed in a 350 oven for 20 minutes until meat reached 145. I let it set 5ish minutes before cutting. My meat was tender juicy and absolutely full of flavor, there was nothing bland about this dish as I made it.

Cheesy Green Bean Dish

Reviewed: May 8, 2013
I liked it well enough. I like the idea of the recipe and will try again using a cheddar or other cheese that is creamy when it melts so that the sauce will seep through the green beans instead of sitting on top of the beans. I found the mozzarella to be to stringy and sticky. I believe I will also replace the bread crumbs with french fried onion rings.

Both my husband and I agree this was one of the best margaritas we have had in a long time. There is nothing over powering about this tasty and refreshing beverage. We won't to have a party to try this again.

We liked this dish very much, I cut the recipe in half. I think when I make this again I will try using both cans of corn it wasn't corny enough for me.

Honey Ginger Green Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2013
Oh this was just a lovely dish. The ginger, soy sauce, honey and garlic all work well together giving the green beans an extra special flavor that just pops out loud. I only had a 1/2 cup of honey and it was still just perfect. Again and again I will make this recipe and this dish will show up at many holiday dinners. Yummy. Thank you so much for sharing.

Ham Bone Chowder

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2013
Yummy yummy flavor, I used ham broth in place of chicken broth. You need more the 45 minutes to get tender vegetables. My dinner was 45 minutes late because of the miss timing. I will make this again and again.

Hamburger Yakisoba (Reduced Yield)

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2013
This was very easy to make and had the best flavor. I used fresh ginger and garlic because I had it on hand. This is a very forgiving recipe because I made a few measuring mistakes and it was still awesome. I read 19.2 as 16 oz and I am sure I used a little more pasta then 4 oz. The ginger flavor is just perfect in this dish. Even Mom liked it and she is not a fan of exotic spicing.

Pierogi III

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2013
I added mashed potatoes to the filling and I am very glad I did. So good you could eat that just as a side dish. The dough I followed the recipe word for word, it took 2 hours to complete, the 5th cup of flour scared me because it seemed like to much and the dough got so stiff. The pierogi I had after freezing them were much better then the ones I cooked fresh. However this is as close as I have come to making a good pierogi that wasn't to dough or off textured. Thank you for the recipe.

This was good with the apples and had a very interesting flavor to it. I think I would like to try this with pretzels as well. It has a nice creamy texture and is pretty to look at. I will do this again.

Easy Slow Cooker Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2013
I also greased my crock pot. I followed the recipe as written and my entire family loved it. I heated up a spicy chipotle sauce and a roasted Pasilla chile sauce and served them in little bowls on the side letting everyone choice there own heat level. Mom liked it as is and so did I but I also enjoyed it with mild and smoky flavor of the chile sauce. Bill went for the spice. I served this with greens and bacon. As I said everyone enjoyed this dish very much.
