California Vegetable Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
We liked this a lot. I used fresh not frozen veggies and because I forgot to pick up the crackers at the store I used french fried onion rings.Lovely creamy sauce that pairs perfectly with the vegetables.

Gourmet Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2013
We really liked this. I didn't cook as long as the recipe calls for. I didn't have parsley so I used spinach flavors are slightly different but it was the green I was after. I will put this in my pork chop file and will be making it again.

Mama's Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2013
I changed 3 things first I used Butterball ground Turkey instead of beef. It was Turkey Tuesday after all. I had black beans so that is what I used. I chose sharp cheddar shredded over American cheese slices and since it said stir in if desired and I didn't desire I topped the bowl of chili with the cheese instead. The flavor was very good, there was a little kick but nothing so hot that you have trouble eating it. I will make this again it was quick and easy and very little prep work or cleanup.

Beef Burgundy Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2013
Very tasty and worth making. I don't use canned soup so I made my own mushroom soup and used fresh mushrooms. I browned my meat in a skillet with the onion and mushrooms and then deglazed the pan with the cup of beef bullion after that I followed the recipe as written. Next time I will cut the cook time to 2 hours other then that I won't change a thing.

Skillet Honey Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
I wish I could give half stars because this recipe would get 3 1/2 stars. I didn't care for it but my husband and mom really liked it.The recipe is very easy to make and doesn't take long to prepare. I may try this again only serve it different like maybe wrapped in lettuce.

Classic Smoked Sausage Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2013
This dish is all about comfort. A little time consuming to put together but more then worth it. I will make this again just not very often. It was so creamy and cheesey and the sausage just added another layer of flavor to the mix.

Vegetarian Mexican Inspired Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2013
Yummy, I steamed my peppers on top of the rice as it cooked, and used fresh tomatoes and chilies because that is what I had on hand. I will say it again YUMMY. I like meat with dinner and was looking for a way to brighten up my boring ole rice and beans with pork chops and this was it.

Hawaiian Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2013
I love this recipe the pineapple and chili mayo are excellent and add so much to the sandwich. Because of diet restrictions for family members I could not use the Butterball frozen burgers way to much sodium. I used Butterballs everyday fresh ground turkey in place of the frozen burgers. Seasoned the meat myself eliminating the salt. Much better for my family and very very tasty. Makes a great dinner and I think these burgers would impress your guest at your next BBQ.

Black Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2013
A good tasting recipe I made my own Sazon seasoning and Jasmine rice and paired this combo off with a good steak and salad. I had a happy well fed husband at the end of the meal and a request to keep this dinner in the monthly line up.

Greek-Seasoned T-Bone Steaks with Cucumber and Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2013
I made my own Greek seasoning using a recipe on this site and let the steak set for about 45 minutes after applying the rub mixture. So very good I will make this recipe again. Fresh cucumbers and tomatoes from my garden made a good salad even better. Yummy.

Deb's Bread and Butter Pickles

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2013
I have just recently started canning and making pickles. This recipe is easy to understand and follow and the end result was perfection. I agree A+ recipe. My go to for pickles from now on. And with the amount of cucumbers I got out of my garden I am going to be giving these pickles proudly as Christmas gifts. Thank you for sharing.

Red Curry Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
I omitted the fish sauce, I had a London broil on hand so I used that and marinated over night and all day. Thanks to rain and wind I cooked it on the broiler very good flavor every one liked it. I will try this again when the weather drys out and we can fire up the grill. Up Date I finally was able to fire up the grill, so much better when you do it on the grill. This steak went from we liked it to we REALLY liked it.

Black Bean Casserole

Reviewed: May 14, 2013
I will make this again like others I used canned beans rinsed and drained. I had made a spicy rice and pork chop so the blandness of this dish worked well with my dinner however the next time more seasonings will be added.

Strawberry Chicken

Reviewed: May 8, 2013
As written this is a 4 star recipe, with a few changes like salt and pepper the meat before marinating it can be a 5 worthy of company. I used fresh rosemary and marinated for 5 hrs. I browned the meat on the stove top made the marinade as directed replaced the meat covered and placed in a 350 oven for 20 minutes until meat reached 145. I let it set 5ish minutes before cutting. My meat was tender juicy and absolutely full of flavor, there was nothing bland about this dish as I made it.
