I feel so accomplished! I have my first published recipe. I think it is a very good one and enjoy the dish regularly in my home. Just a little proud ;) .
  It is strange how a little recognition even from something as anonymous as a recipe club on the internet filled with loads of faceless people can make you feel so good about yourself and your efforts.In the time I have been a member of AR I have submitted more then a few recipes and this is the first to be approved and in fact I had one recipe declined before I had one accepted  so being approved and published is no easy feat. I think any one that gets published in the recipe club has good reason to be proud and if you manage to have a list of published recipes you have even more reason to beam.

Congratulations! Your recipe looks great. Everyone loves to be recognized and I try to remember that as I go about my day at work and home. Kudos to you - celebrate!

Sounds Good to me, I like cottage cheese in Lasagna rather than ricotta cheese (my wife is part Italian so I don't get away with that often). The added sour cream sounds good to me too.

Congrats! You're right, you know you are a good cook but that extra recognition is special. After all, the family HAS to say it's good if they want to keep getting dinner. This is an impartial assessment.

Congrats. I'm gonna try that one, it sounds yummy. I have a couple questions. How did you find out you'd been published and how long did you wait before your recipe was kitchen tested and approved?

Hi Joey, I have been making this for years. I call it spagehetti pie. I add parm cheese, an egg and chopped parsley. Salt, pepper and garlic powder are all you need. I have even added pepperoni to it. Congrats and Welcome!!

I received an email and months, I have 2 other recipes still waiting for review and 1 recipe was turned down.Hope this helps. Thank you every one for your comments.

Thanks Joey K. I have had a recipe in the wait list for 4 years now. It's original, tasty and healthy, can't figure out why it's been languishing, I think getting a good recipe accepted by AR would be great.

My cooking triumphs
Gravy! I am now the Queen of gravy but that wasn't always so.Lumpy was the least of my problems.For years I would buy the gravy in a jar,not any more I got determined and I mastered the art of gravy.
My cooking tragedies
Well I had many many gravy tragedies but I have had more baking bloopers then gravy.I can't seem to manage a cake from scratch,you can either use it as a clay brick or as saw dust on the floor,so I leave cake baking to others.
