Manicotti Italian Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
This is a family keeper! Anything with cheese and pepperoni is amazing! I've made it lots of times - I've made AS IS and I've also made it by tossing the meat with the sauce; kind of like that better. I usually cut my pepperoni into quarters - pepperoni goes further and you can ensure pep with each bite! Yum!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

15 STARS!! These are the absolute BEST cookies! I make them EXACTLY AS IS and have made them w/marg&butter or w/all butter. For best results USE THE SHORTENING AND BUTTER! They just turn out so pretty! I've made these at least 10 times. I'll be using this at the upcoming Christmas cookie exchange!

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
This is my dh's favorite meal - and this did *not* disappoint! I'm making it for the second time this wknd for my friends baby shower. I do tweak it a bit. 8oz of tomato sauce is no where near enough sauce, but then again I cooked these on the stove top rather than the slow cooker. I used 2 or 3 15oz of sauce to almost cover them. I also used minced garlic - that's a given in this household [!!]. I let them cook on the stove top for a couple hrs. Other than that, I followed the recipe. They were divine! I served with mashed potatoes and a green veggie.

White Chocolate Gorp

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
With little supervision - this is one for the little ones to make or just help out with. There's not much mess scoopin' out the cereals and tossing them in a bowl. I used reg. mini pretzels, almond M&M's, salted peanuts. Very good!!! And pretty addicting too ;O)

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
hmmmmm...could Splenda be the culprit? i've baked with splenda b4, but now 2 brownie recipes have failed. ***UPDATE***[originally one star] - could have been the girls or the splenda. I made these last night - with reg. sugar - and they totally suit their name! They ROCK!! Made exactly as stated - even added some chocolate chips. I did not make the frosting.

St. Patrick's Day dinner was a hit w/this dish!! Everyone loved it and there was *just* enough to feed 11 people [i used 2 lbs of red potatoes...the other 1/2 lb would've been welcome :)]. My dh wants me to make this all the time!! I made this with Guiness Corned Beef from this site.

Slow Cooker Oatmeal

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2007
Well...the reviews prompted me to cook this for 4hrs and on "warm" for another 4. It was still a bit too 'goopey' [?]- "Please, sir, may I have some more?" We will try this again with different times and maybe some apples and cinnamon.
