Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
I have made this dish several times and everytime it has come out great! Both my VERY PICKY husband and daughter love it. Neither of them are a fan of "crock pot" pot roasts so this was a great recipe to find.....THANK YOU! I follow the recipe exact, except that I had a cube of Beef Boulihan to the water to add flavor. I also use jarred beef gravy (as I am not good at making my own) and scoop a few spoon fulls of the juices left after the it is done into the gravy and it comes out great.

Lisa's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
I made this as a Birthday Cake for a good friend of mine that is a huge "chocolate lover"! I received numerous compliments on it from everyone that had a piece and the birthday girl herself was in shock that I made it myself....she loved it and had a huge piece! I followed the recipe......but I added a chocolate icing to the top of the cake (I bought one of those that you can microwave and pour on top of the cake) and then sprinkled the left over chocolate chips all over the icing! It looked, smelled and tasted great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! =)

Basic British Scones

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
These were the best scones I have had since I live in England over 10 years ago! To all those "scone" lovers out there these are about the closest you can get to a real English Scone without flying to England to have one. Thank you for the great recipe!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2003
These were the best scones I have had since I live in England 10 years ago! Thank you for the great recipes. To all those "scone" lovers out there these are what I would call the American Version as they are crumbly on the outside and soft in the center........which is my favorite type of scone next to the more round and soft ones.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2003
This was the first "quiche" I ever made on my own and it turned out great! Thank you! I omitted the herb cheese and just used the whole cup of cheddar cheese. It was so easy to make and bake. My whole family loved it.
