Best Baked Chicken

Very good...the stuffing breading makes the meal more filling than expected. I added more than a dash of pepper, but otherwise kept with the recipe.

Swanson® Braised Beef with Shallots and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2013
I made this recipe for 4. I added more shallots than the recipe called for because I am very fond of them and they always add so much flavor to any kind of sauce I make. I did season the beef prior to browning it to give the meat a little more flavor. Also, I did not use the lemon zest or parsley. I served this with some mashed potatoes and the dish came out very tasty!

Turned out very tender and moist. The cheeses added great flavor. I paired this with yellow rice and veggies covered in cheddar.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2013
This recipe turned out well, but I did make many adjustments as usual. I don't generally use measuring spoons, so my descriptions may be a little more general. I made 2 tilapia filets. I cut out the celery salt completely. I added a couple dashes of paprika and garlic powder. I still added the lemon even though many reviewers cut this out. I used the olive oil mayo since it is lower in fat. I added much more pepper than what the recipe stated, but this should be done by your taste. I added some herb bread crumbs to the mixture and I also seasoned the fish on both sides before putting it in the broiler. I didn't notice any comments about the broiler, but I put it on low and just checked up on it after 2 minutes to see how cooked it was. This worked well for me.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
Very good! I used a 2lb roast but added more carrots, onions, and potatoes after I adjusted the serving amount. I also added the whole packet of dry onion soup mix for just 4 servings. Will definitely try again!

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
Very good! I wasn't able to find the rubber squeezer of my baster so I had to make due with using a large spoon to spread the juices over the top to make it crispier. This recipe was simple to make and very tasty. I will definitely be making this again.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
Very good! Followed the instructions as is aside from the marjoram because I realized I didn't have any.. with just an extra dash of the crushed red pepper flakes. I also had these in the oven for about 10 minutes longer. Definitely will make again...goes well with steak!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
VERY good! I added more crushed saltine crackers to the loaf. I also topped the loaf with the brown sugar and ketchup instead of having it on the bottom. I used more ketchup and brown sugar than listed. Turned out delicious!

Jenny's Cuban-Style Slow-Cooker Chicken Fricassee

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
I improvised a little on this recipe and actually combined and altered this recipe with another chicken fricasse recipe I found on this website. It was very tasty and the chicken came out so tender it literally was falling right off the bone with the touch of a fork. The only downside was it stunk up my house for a good 3 days!

Herb Roasted Chicken and Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2013
I made several alterations and additions to this recipe in order to give it more flavor. As-is the recipe is quite bland. I seasoned everything with salt, pepper, adobo, paprika, and oregano. I also added onions. A few changes made a whole lot of difference!
