I made turkey meatballs the other night from an AR Recipe except I substituted a lot of stuff, I added shredded carrots left over from 5 star eggrolls, and mushrooms and a bunch of other stuff and they came out great.  I couldn't wait to tell you all about it except when I went in to write the blog I was not able to move the cursor from the Title line to the text block.  After much to do with suggestions given to me on the recipe buzz and  Elizabeth the AR  computer Guru, I now find I can post from a different browser (outlook vs. explorer) so it was apparently my computer after all.  I was ready to cancel my supporting membership.  So thanks to all of you who tried to help me and  Elizabeth (I will email her separately).  I have really forgotten what I thought was so important about the meatballs now that time has past, but I am glad I will be able to continue on with you all.  As they say, keep the faith.  It usually all works out in the end.

Glad you got your problem solved. I'd be doomed if I didn't have smart friends to help with computer glitches!

About Me
I am a retired registered nurse. I have two fabulous grandchildren ages 10 and 7, they live only 1 mile from me so we cook together often.
My favorite things to cook
I like one pot meals, slow cooker, rustic fare. Lately, I am cultivating recipes for soup and have turned out some really good results, especially using curry seasoning. I am not a baker.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I make many of my mother's dishes. I like to entertain with just a wide array of appetizers sometimes, even though it is labor intensive.
My cooking triumphs
My Italian spaghetti sauce. My famous pot roast made in an oven bag. Appetizers.
My cooking tragedies
My latest debacle is making Pho, Vietnamese beef soup. Very labor intensive, many exotic ingredients, cook all day. I went to strain it through a cheesecloth lined colander and forgot to put anything under the colander. Down the drain it went; 7 hours worth of broth. Oh Well!
