Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies
Well, after looking at the recipe,
thought that I would give it a go...
Ended up putting a full cup of peanut butter, because I couldn't smell the pb after initial amount, and still, they didn't taste like peanut butter.
Eyebrow went up at the tbsp of vanilla, and tried it, ewwww....
Very wet dough, so I went ahead and added a cup of rolled oats *as I usually do for pb cookies*, and still were wet. Let it sit in the fridge for and hour, still hard to drop, so I ended up forming them by rolling tablespoonfuls in powdered sugar, then putting it on the pan to mark with a fork.
Well, without the oats, they spread like crazy, but since I added the oats, I put an extra egg in and omitted the milk. This last batch with the two eggs, 1 tsp of vanilla, 1 cup of pb, and a cup of oats was moist and chewy. They even held the mark. Time consuming to roll them in the powdered sugar, but worth it.
