Broccoli Cheese Soup VI

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
It was absolutely delicious! I used Vegetable broth because that is what I had on-hand. I also used fresh diced onions and cooked them in the butter, which I then used to create a roux with the flour before adding the milk. Next time, I will add chopped shredded carrots for a bit of color.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
Delish and easy. I made it last minute. I chopped up the chicken into bite sized pieces, cooked in a pan with olive oil, then added frozen veggies when halfway done. I added the sauce at the end and turned to low to simmer while I set the table. I made it with sweet brown rice, cooked with a splash of sugar and shredded coconut. DINNER IN UNDER 20 MINUTES!

Fastest, easiest pudding ever. Never again will a powdered, chemical laden pudding mix cross my threshold. PERFECT when time is short!

Roasted Herb Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
Incredible! The soy sauce gives it an amazing flavor. I used Apple Cider Vinegar in lieu of the red wine vinegar. Came out amazing. BTW - I also used this sauce plus 1/2 c water in the crockpot with chicken thighs. YUMMY! **I also use Apple Cider Vinegar in lieu of red wine vinegar.

So yummy and easy! I use a gallon size baggie with the corner cut out as an easy way to squeeze out perfect dollops every time. I do the same for the dough AND the filling. Tidy and very quick!

Totally fool proof. I used GRANDS bisuits and separated them in half by splitting the layers, then used kitchen shears to snip them in half. Cooked for full 30 minutes. AWESOME! Thanks!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
Ridiculously easy and delicious! You can really use almost any cut of pork and it is always great cooked longer too. I set mine for 6 hours, pulled it out at 5 hrs, shredded it and returned it to simmer for the last hour.

Absolutely the best waffle recipe ever. Light as air. I added some sugar to make them stand up well on their own and need less syrup. After this, any other recipe seems pithy!

Amish Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
These are light and airy and seem to dissolve in your mouth. I think they need a glaze or icing because they are a little dry otherwise. With a simple glaze made of 1 T melted butter, 3 T milk, 1.5 C powdered sugar, 0.25 t vanilla, and a pinch of salt, it is a breeze to drizzle and make these cookies beautiful. These are the easiest and most delicious sugar cookies ever. I love easy to handle batter rather than a thick dough.

Corn Pudding Custard

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
Loved it, but I changed it a bit to make it more of a sweet pudding. I added 3/4 cup of sugar (instead of 3 tablespoons) and I added vanilla. Made as it is in the original recipe it is very salty.

Excellent! I used fresh cherries and a pitter from Williams-Sonoma (saves so much time and effort!!!). Perfect texture! Very important to let the tapioca sit in the moist bowl for a full fifteen minutes!
