I started cooking when i got tired of my mom's busy everyday cooking. My family of 7 became my critics. If there were no leftovers that meant i should do that again. I am married now and living in Philadelphia; sharing my recipe finds with those around me. Blini on a snowy Saturday morning is what my mother used to do to lure the big family in from their corners. I'm planning to continue this and her Christmas cookies. I got my husband and many others to like broccoli. I decided to cook Christmas dinner for the family. So i brined the turkey in a big bucket lined with a couple bags and put it outside to stay cool. I woke up the next morning to find that a neighborhood dog got loose, dumped the turkey and tried to eat it but I had a lot of onions all over it so the dog left it alone.
