Pumpkin Spice Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
We're making these right now and I can't stop eating them! The 1st batch we baked for maybe 9 minutes---not long enough! They were ok, but gooey. I think 12-13 minutes will work best for my oven. They're so simple to make, I'll make sure to keep these TWO ingredients in my pantry. Next time---chocolate chips!!

This was YUMMY! I doubled the recipe and used chicken broth instead of beer. It's very filling and good for you, too.

Easy Vegetarian Red Beans Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
I made this for my vegetarian Mom's birthday dinner---and she really enjoyed it. It was an interesting twist on lasagna--the Gruyere cheese is the key to it's flavor! I doubled almost all the ingredients so I could make it in a 9x13 pan.

We used 4 kinds of cereal, including 1 cup of Cocoa Pebbles. We added a handful of Christmas M&M's----turned out yummy and colorful. My daughter said, "This was fun to make!"

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2006
I made this for company and everyone loved it! I served it on a large, beautiful platter and it looked impressive, too. My husband just said to mention: Make sure the onions are cooked well--so they're not crunchy!

Seven Layer Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2006
This is a definate keeper! The layers are versatile: use your favorite vegies! I think the bacon, cheddar cheese and parmesean are the main reasons it's so darn delicious!! I made this for a women's luncheon and it was immediately devoured, with requests for the recipe. Try it soon!

Puppy Chow I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2005
I'd had this a couple of times at parties recently and wanted to make some for my family. I knew I could find the recipe on www.allrecipes.com! This was easy to make and the kids were pleased. I used semi-sweet chunks 'cause that's what I had, and just a couple of tablespoons of butter. Easy! Fun! Yummy! Makes tons!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2005
This recipe turned out SO YUMMY! And it couldn't be easier. Even my picky eater ate it up! The chicken was moist and very flavorful. We don't use the "stuff in the green can" parmesean, so I made this with shredded parmesean. I patted extra on the chicken and it worked fine. We had 1/2 chicken breast left, and the flavors were even better the next day! Will make again!

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2004
Wowza! This was a very pleasant surprise to all 5 of us at dinner last week. Who knew we loved spinach and feta so much? Easy to make and very tasty! I used fresh spinash and sauted it with the onion and garlic. Crumbled up the "tomato and basil" feta, and the cheddar, in with the spinach mixture. Topped with the milk/egg mix, but didn't pour it all in as I could see the quiche was FULL. Yummy! I'm baking TWO of the quiches tonight for dinner...rare for me to make something again so soon!

Beef Stew VI

This was yummy! I basically followed the recipe, 'cept I had no celery. I probably used more potatoes than called for. I used excellent meat and the stew turned out thick, hearty and very flavorful.

Cowboy Hash

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
I really enjoyed this a lot! I was impressed with how easy/quick it was and how it made a LOT! I also think it tasted great! The 3 kids I served it to only picked at it though, they didn't love it. I added half a pkg. of taco seasoning when I browned the beef. Then the 2 cans of corn and 2 cans of chili beans. I served it all over rice, and sprinkled it with shredded cheddar. Lots of leftovers for ME! :)

Aaahh! Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
Yum! We just had this for dinner and it was a hit, even with my picky eater. I used two HUGE Idaho potatoes, which was more than enough, surprisingly. After the potatoes and au-gratin mixes had cooked, I added about a cup of diced ham when I added a pint (TWO cups) of cream. This made a LOT...more than enough for 6 hungry people. Will make it again!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2004
MmmMMmm this smelled as great as it tasted. I think the wine was important to the good flavor. I browned some chicken breast pieces on the stove, poured the sauce over the pieces in a 9 X 13 pan, then baked for 30 minutes. Served with broccoli. I'd definately make again; perhaps would add garlic to the chicken as I browned it.

Yummmmm! We had company and both adults and children enjoyed this. Easy to prepare (I'd say the longer ahead, the better.....it needs time to FREEZE)and a fun surprise to end a good meal.

Baked Ziti IV

This turned out sooo yummy! It makes a FULL pan of lasagna-like goodness. I used penne pasta instead of ziti; I'd think any pasta would work just fine. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2003
So yummy! We shared one with some friends last night and she called today wanting the recipe! I -used a chocolate pie shell (I think an oreo one would taste great!) -Poured (spooned) a layer of fudge sauce on the crust before topping with the filling. -Sprinkled w/ Autumn "sprinkles"....one could use whatever the season/holiday is at the time. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Megan! It's a keeper!

We enjoyed these meatballs but weren't saying "Wow". I made a different sauce, and served them over egg noodles. I'd try the meatballs one more time.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: May 27, 2003
Six of us had this for dessert last nite and all thought it was yummy. I used a bit more than half of the sweetened condensed milk (as per other reviewers), added an extra banana, and made it in a clear, deep bowl. That way I was able to make layers and also lay the 'Nilla wafers up against the side of the bowl for "looks". Tonite we ate the "leftovers" and thought they were even better. I sliced up some fresh banana in each person's bowl before serving the leftover pudding.
