Next time I won't use kidney beans. I don't like them very much. I will use black beans and pinto beans instead.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Fantastic! I used half brown sugar and half white. I think that I will cut down the sugar to about 2/3 cup though, as I thought it was a little too sweet. I used 2 cups of sweet potatoes and used by 9 in deep dish pie pan and it was too thick. It took almost two hours to cook. I will 1.5 times it next time and make two smaller pies.

Blonde Brownies I

I doubled as most reviewers suggested and put in a 9x13 pan. I would suggest putting it in a little bigger pan. They were very good, but I think they would have been better a little thinner as they are pretty sweet.

Mom's Zucchini Pancakes

Soo good! I added a pinch of pepper and used a grated sweet onion, then put on the grill like a regular pancake. It only made 6 regular size pancakes so it left us wishing we had more!

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Great flavor. I put sweet potatoes, carrots and apples, covered it and put it in the oven for a couple hours. The flavors were perfect together.

Roxie's Bran Muffins

Loved this recipe! They were really moist but not too sweet. I omitted the honey and apple and just added a couple tbsp of brown sugar, an extra banana and a little more milk. Baked for 18 min at 400.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

I substituted half of the butter for applesauce like another reviewer recommended. I also baked at 335 for about 13 minutes (added an extra minute because I let the dough sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes.)

Old Fashioned Apple Dumplings

I like my sauce more like syrup. :) I only used about 2 cups water but used the same amount of sugar and added cinnamon. In each apple I used only 1/4 of the amount that it called for. Sooo delicious!

Banana Banana Bread

I split the dough and put it in two 9x5 pans and cooked it for 40 minutes which was a little long. Next time I will check it at 35 minutes.
