Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
This is divine. Agree with others that it is not sweet icing and has the cream cheese flavor, but that's what I was looking for when I tried this recipe. Incredibly easy to make and everyone at my daughter's birthday party raved. Will never use store bought again.

Pillow-Soft Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
So easy. I took a chance and made these on Christmas day. I followed the recipe as written, and they came out perfect. Wonderful flavor. One guest remarked that she could never go back to brown-n-serve after having these rolls. Leftovers didn't last long.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
Wow! What a weird recipe & SO TASTY! My husband and I both thought this sounded crazy with swiss cheese and stuffing? The mixture is wonderful. My two children (ages 4 and 3) LOVE it. I have been making this once a week for the past 2 months and the whole family goes nuts for it every time. Best part is that it's insanely easy. I only made a couple of changes. I wrap the chicken breasts in swiss cheese, and I use 2 full cans of cream of chicken and 2 full bags of chicken stuffing (with butter added before I put it on top.) Takes a little longer to bake, but it only takes 5 minutes to put together. This will be my staple chicken recipe for a long time.

Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2007
This was the first ham that I've ever made. Everyone told me that it was the best ham they had ever eaten. The only change I made to the recipe was skipping the cloves (not a fan). This disappeared quickly...

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
This dish was inhaled by my family. I also made a few changes that others have suggested. I doubled the recipe, added a can of carrots and peas and 1/2 cup of milk. It was so simple to make and had a great flavor. This one will join my casserole rotation.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2006
I did something very wrong, and it's still a 5 star recipe. I had troubles pulling the chicken over the ham and cheese. It was the biggest mess and looked not so pretty. The flavor was wonderful though. It was exactly how I wanted it to taste. The sauce was wonderful too. I got rave reviews. I can't wait to make it again and see if I can make it look more presentable. I served it with long grain rice and steamed vegetables. The sauce was perfect over them too.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2006
A huge hit! There is a reason why so many have given this 5 stars. My family couldn't get enough of it (including my two-year-old). I also followed the advice of others and tweaked it a little. 1) I used taco seasoning with the ground beef 2) I left out the black olives 3) I used so much more cheese - 2 full packages of shredded cheese 4) I didn't use a can of green chiles and instead used 2 cans of Rotel 5) I doubled the tortillas and put the refried beans on the tortillas 6) I served it on lettuce with sour cream and our favorite salsa on the side. I don't understand any of the bad reviews of it tasting bland or being horribly mushy looking. It was packed full of flavor and looked really good. As my husband said at the end of dinner, "this recipe is definitely a keeper."

Easy Turkey Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
Warning: You need to double this recipe, because everyone will want more. This recipe is so insanely easy and delicious. I didn't have mushrooms or cream of celery. I used cream of mushroom instead and 2/3 cups of parm instead of 1/2. It was a huge hit. My only complaint is that there were no leftovers.

A wonderful treat! I was a bit terrified by how it looked, but appearances are deceiving with this one. The whole family loved it.

Stuffed Kielbasa

Since my husband loves kielbasa and kraut and I hate it, I thought I'd try this out. I don't know why, but I loved it. My husband raved too.

New England Clam Chowder I

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2004
While this recipe was very good, it certainly was not akin to New England clam chowder. I thickened it with flour and also substituted clam juice for the water. There was just something missing, and I didn't like the addition of bacon. A good soup but not what I hoped for.

Blackberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2004
Awesome recipe - and so quick to make! I made a huge batch of it and ate it every day for lunch for nearly two weeks. Everyone that tried it at work went home and made it for dinner. I skipped the tomatoes and used the no dressing version. Loved it!!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

I also had problems getting this to thicken for some reason. So, I made lots of changes to this recipe and it came out awesome. I included cream of chicken soup, cream of broccoli soup, and 3 different kinds of cheeses!! It was incredible.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2003
I was craving peanut butter fudge something fierce. I threw this recipe together in 15 minutes with cheap honey flavored peanut butter and it is awesome! More importantly, it's impossible to get wrong. My husband hates peanut butter and hates fudge. He devoured this recipe. Angie's fudge is the best!!
