Seasoned Baked Potato Wedges

They were only "ok" because I had to scrape most of the seasoning off after I baked them. They were so spicy, my kids (who are NOT picky eaters) would not touch them. Next time I will omit the chili powder and just go with the other seasonings. I will rate again once I have tried them without lighting my mouth on fire. Once the seasonings were scraped off with a knife, they were quite pleasant.

Split Pea Soup

My whole family- including our children (ages 2, 5 and 7) rave about this recipe! The only alterations I make are to add 2 chicken bouillon cubes and two bay leaves. The flavor profile develops overnight- so leftovers are amazing! We serve it with yeast rolls. This "soup" is very filling and satisfying on a cool day. The kids always ask for seconds!

Bacon and Potato Soup

You know a recipe is a hit when my 5 year old asks me to pack it in her lunch! This soup was FANTASTIC. I didn't change a thing. It was just hearty enough to serve as the main dish along with a salad and slice of French bread. Thank you for this new family favorite!

Classic Goulash

This was simple and fabulous! My kids ate every bite and asked for more! I wasn't sure if we would like it, so I halved the recipe and I used medium shells instead of elbow. A great comfort food- I will make it again and again!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Amazing flavor! It was a crowd pleaser. I only give it 4 stars because all of my cheese also leaked out. I used left over Christmas spiral cut ham and I think it was just too thick to properly wrap the chicken around. I did use kitchen twine 3 times around the rolls, it just wasn't enough based on the ham I used.
